"I went for a regular cleaning a few months ago, they were gentle but thorough and noticed that I had deep grooves in my molars so scheduled me for some smaller fillings to prevent decay. I just had the fillings yesterday and was very impressed with the experience. They used numbing gel first and as Dr. Sandler did the numbing injection, he told me to raise my hand if I felt any discomfort - and when I did, he would wait and let the numbing start to activate before going deeper to finish the injection. So it was just a small pinch at the start or nothing at all for all the injections. He was very patient and attentive to my comfort. I had four fillings done and they showed me before, during, and after pictures once it was done. They were very precise, keeping as much of the original tooth as possible by using a smaller bore on the drill, and the grooves are precisely filled. The after pictures looked great. Once the numbing wore off later that day I was a little sore but more in the gums, probably from the surgical raft or injections. Today I have no pain or soreness and can use the teeth like normal. This was a great experience for my first time getting fillings, and I really value the professionalism and care by the staff. The only improvement I would ask for is if they could explain what they are doing at each step a little more, though I understand why some patients might not want that. It just helps me understand what is happening throughout the process a little better. Overall, very impressed with the care I received and how precise the fillings were done. Thank you!"
