"Are you planning an event? Try the Dye House! Our daughter was married here. This place not only offers the venue for the wedding, but it has hotel rooms as well. You rent the entire facility and sit it up to suit your needs. What a change from the usual way of making arrangements for a wedding. Check it out!"
"perfect little secluded spot! amenities are quite nice - my only qualm is thin walls. I would definitely stay here again - quick and easy and had everything I needed for a weekend trip!"
"My boyfriend and I stayed with our dogs in December. While I loved the spacious room and decor, the very comfortable king bed and the A+ water pressure on the shower, there were a few things lacking from my experience tbh. One, the location is less than desirable. It is by a fairly busy intersection with lots of cars passing by and not the safest neighborhood especially at night. On our last morning there was what looked like a yellow sauce smeared on our car and the window. Two, there was an event during our stay from 6-10 pm, which we were informed of only the same day via text and it was quite loud - felt trapped in the room as you have to exit by passing the event space. Third, there is no designated pet area and we were charged $75/pet after our stay - this charge was over 50% of our booking price so would not say it is worth it if you're staying with pets. I found it strange to be charged this AFTER when there is absolutely no service or pet accommodations. Fourth, there was a family staying in the room next door and we could hear them, the door to our room had a sliver at the top so it is not completely closed even when the door is shut. I will say that my communication with Valerie via the Airbnb app was very good, she was quick to respond and accommodated an early check-in and late check-out. However, seeing as you can book a hotel downtown for the same price I will not be coming back"
"I was traveling with my mom to NY and stopped off at Dye House to break up the trip. Check in was super great and easy - a key pad at the door! The room was big, modern and well appointed. The bed was also very comfortable. We loved all the design elements from the unique and old building. It was also a very quick and easy drive to some sweet little shops and great coffee. I will be back! Thank you!! "
"The minimalist setting is great in concept, but less so when the heater breaks and you’re troubleshooting it with the owner for 2 hours over text. We usually choose between 2 styles of hotels. 1: cute location where you can walk everywhere. This is definitely not it. The other reviewers were generous to say this is an ”up and coming” neighborhood. 2: cute room where you can relax in a clean in a well thought out room. Unfortunately, this is not it, either. The rooms are large but not very functional, and the bathroom door can barely be called that. At least the shower is great. 5 out of 5. The water gets hot and it drains well. That’s the saving grace of this place. The place kindly provided ear plugs - we didn’t needed because were used to city noises."
