"I can't believe I'm inspired to write a review about oral surgery, but I am! I recently had somewhat major work done by Dr. Bouffard - both an Osseous Surgery and a Connective Tissue Graft. I was *sure* that I'd be in pain and miserable for at least two weeks. I was also certain that I'd not be able to tolerate the procedure with only local anesthesia. It's obvious where I'm going here...the procedure took over an hour, but the time truly flew by. I didn't hear or feel a thing. Plus, I had no pain after. Zero. And I only took a half dose of the pain pill the first night, which I probably didn't even need. He is truly a skilled clinician."

He was very professional and not only took the time to explain the procedure but also to reassure and to make me comfortable throughout the entire process. After the extraction and during the recovery, I experienced very little pain making the need for strong pain relief medication unnecessary. "I needed to have a skin graft done on the bottom left side of my mouth. Dr. Bouffard was amazing to work with. I was a bit nervous since I was going to need to be awake throughout the surgery but Dr. Bouffard assured me i would be comfortable and not feel any pain. All I heard leading up to the surgery from people was how painful the procedure is an how it takes quite a while for the gums to heal. People could not have been more inaccurate. I did not have an ounce of pain or aching during or after the procedure. I took the pain medication as prescribed and within 1 week the stitches came out. The roof of my mouth had almost completely healed after 2 weeks. The graft took perfectly to my lower gums and i have not had a problem with it since. I need to have my right side done as well over the next year and will 100% be using Dr. Bouffard. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone for any type of Oral surgery!"

"Dr. Bouffard did a great job with my grafting. He did one side at a time which allowed me to eat normally (just favoring one side of my mouth!) I was able to eat, talk and feel surprisingly normal 12 hours after the surgery. There was very little pain. Overall, I was highly impressed with the way he handled the surgery, the advice he gave for post surgery, and the final results."

"Just had all my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Robert Bouffard at Maple Ave Family Dentistry. Amazing work!! 24 hours after the procedure there was minimal swelling, and very little discomfort, so I had no need to continue pain medication. Dr. Bouffard is extremely professional, very polite, and personable; so, I'm happy to recommend him. The staff at Maple Ave Family Dentistry was just as polite, and professional. All around wonderful experience. The procedure was done Friday afternoon, and I was back at work Monday."
