Aqua Blue Hotel

"Stayed here for a weekend at the end of December with my girlfriend and would never stay again! The rooms smell like cigarettes, mold and mildew and are completely in need of a renovation. For a king room they charge about $250 a night even in their off season and it is 100% not worth it. The pool was broken, the hot tub was broken (even though they said it wasn’t) and the whole hotel just feels like it’s been neglected. On top of that we were there with friends and there were RAT DROPPINGS FOUND IN THEIR FOLDED UP SHOWER TOWELS! This just goes to show they don’t keep up with the rooms or laundry that they put in there because there was a lot of droppings. I sent a message on their website, and never heard back. So I called and reported this and was told the manager would call me and that was weeks ago. The only thing this place has going is it sits on the water and has a nice view but that’s it! RUN THE OTHER WAY FOR YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTH!"

"Perfectly near a beach with many things to walk to. Easy to check in and our room was clean. Loved the pool and jacuzzi to relax in. We would definitely come back! Thanks for a great weekend!"

"We reserved a room with queen beds & a large bathroom for my nephews wedding. it also included a walk out balcony, flat screen TV , small sitting area and mini-fridge. Upon arrival we ask to see if there was a room available with a king size bed. We were told that all rooms were booked due to several weddings and a festival. I will say with each encounter, the front desk staff were very nice. Our stay was four nights, not once did housekeeping come to empty our garbage or provide us with clean linens. I had to get them myself from the linen closet. The hotel did provide towels in the pool/hot tub area. However, we wanted to use the hot tub. It was broken and they were not going to fix until slow season. On a side note, my nephew blocked off rooms there for out of town wedding guest to stay. The hotel tried to say that all the rooms were not filled and they were charging them $1000. According to my nephew all blocked rooms were filled."

"It seems they were in the middle of renovations, so some areas like the decks felt very unattended to. Otherwise the rooms were clean and the location is perfect! The person who was working the front desk for the evening hours was so nice and friendly! He was very professional and brought us up a microwave and extra towels right away!"

"I really enjoyed staying here. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach~restaurants ~great coffee shop in the am across the street. The room was updated nicely, quality linens on the bed and in the bathroom. I would recommend they re-do the carpets in the hallways as they are definitely overdue but not a reason not to stay here and the curtains in the room also overdue and it showed. It seems they must be upgrading a little at a time. I’m sure its costly so I don’t want this to be a poor mark to them just an awareness. Overall great place and I am staying there again this month."
