"Stayed for a long 4th of July weekend. It was nothing but perfect; the Inn and the grounds are meticulously kept. The rooms are generous size. Bathroom suites are luxurious with steam showers. What makes the big difference is the attention to details and service. The daily breakfast is made fresh; every component of it was incredible. A special place. Would definitely come back."
"Of all the Inns we stayed at during our trip to New Hampshire, Connecticut and Mass, this was without a doubt my favorite. Firstly, Caroline is a wonderful host and she shared her story as a pasty chef. She is warm, friendly but a quiet person. We loved watching her bake her scones (which by the way were the best scones I've ever tried - normally I hate scones because they are all dried out but hers were very moist---my only complaint was I could have had oh 3-4 more and life would have been good ! :) Her kitchen is the dream kitchen, I took several videos of her kitchen because I would love to use some of the ideas to redesign our kitchen if we ever get around to it. It's a gigantic kitchen with 2 island counter-tops, several ovens, and electric outlets everywhere you look. The refrigerators are very cool looking with glass doors. The rooms at her inn are tastefully decorated and just comfortable to relax in. Breakfast was absolutely delicious as you would expect from an amazing chef like herself. Like several of the inns we stayed at in New Hampshire, there is history in her home. It was such a beautiful home. It was just a pleasure being in her company and just talking to her about cooking and her life story. Again, of all the inns we stayed at, this was without question the best. We look forward to staying there again soon."
"CMF is an absolute gem. I was only able to stay for one night, and I was very reluctant to leave. This bed and breakfast exceeded every expectation I had. The owners' attention to detail is unmatched down to the small finishing touches - the cozy furniture and materials, paint colors, high end appliances and even the hardware were beautiful. There was even a small basket in my bathroom with feminine products in case I needed any. Needless to say, they succeeded in creating an incredibly relaxing and serene atmosphere. I loved that there wasn't a TV, phone, or even a clock in my room, which helped me completely disconnect and recharge. The small gym was perfect for what I needed and the sauna was huge and clean. The food was SO good; I wasn't surprised to learn that they use local ingredients (I also saw a large veggie garden and chickens on the property) for freshness and quality. Essentially, this was a great place to totally unwind. I highly recommend staying here. Your experience is worth every dollar."
"I don't think saying "Magic" is an overstatement. The rooms are so well appointed. The sheets are butter. And its all about Carolyn. She's a remarkably gracious host who cares deeply about giving everyone a superior experience. She's is an off the charts chef. You'll know that the minute you bite into one of the goodies she's left you in the basket that you'll find waiting in your room and you'll really know it if you have dinner or when you have breakfast. It's a true oasis and best to go as couples or with a bunch of friends and family and take over the place as much as you can."
