"I had an overall positive experience here. I asked for an early check in to accommodate my very busy schedule on the base and, to my surprise, they agreed to that. And they kept their promise -- I checked in early with no issues. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. The room itself was clean and comfortable."

"This is my favorite Navy Chalet in the Fleet. The rooms are cleaned daily, the staff is incredibly friendly....especially housekeeping and the front desk. The location is very convenient as it is very close to the main gate. For me, it is the most convenient possible location as it is right across the (walking) Bridge from the Naval Justice School, where I'm an instructor."

"Standard temporary us on duty rooms however, the service provided by the staff is top notch and the location. I mean it’s Newport Rhode Island. You can’t beat it."

"Room is adequate as I have been here for a month. The staff is top notch and extremely friendly. The rooms leave a little to be desired. The towels often come back brown and the elevator has been down several times since we arrived. Other than those two minor complaints this stay has been pretty decent."

"The view at the bridge & water near the hotel is the best part of this place. Everything else was fine. It was nice to have a fridge & microwave in the room. As others mentioned, it could definitely use some updating/improving"
