"Very family oriented, beach was closed due to bacteria. Very clean bathrooms and very kind staff."
"I booked 3 nights for myself to get away and relax and I did exactly that. Not only is this place beautiful, and scenic; the staff here is absolutely wonderful. Big shout out to Shelby for being so helpful and just amazing all around. hope she is there next time, as I will be back!"
"Nice quiet family campground. Great prices for MA residents to be able to get away for a weekend. Bathrooms could use some updating (they’ve been the same for 15 years since I was a kid), but overall great campground"
"This place is beautiful I heard it was the first state forest in Massachusetts Beaman pond . We rode our bicycles here from Lake Dennison found a cute little porcupine and they have some yurts here that I didn't realize they had."
"Sites are fine and decently spaced out with trees or shrubs in between. It's dry since it's in a pine forest. It's clean and well maintained. It's loud. Lots of families and people around. An ice cream truck, yes the loud, music playing, ice cream truck patrolled the campground at night. There are three bathrooms for about 60 camping spots. I'm guessing they just expect you to pee in the woods, which is fine, but if they want people to respect the campground, maybe make it less than a 15 minute winding walk to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. A Privy or outhouse without running water is just fine. It's way over priced for out of state visitors. $17 for residents, 54 for put of state."
