"I’ve been going to this dentist for my entire life, since my teeth grew in. It’s a wonderful place and I wish I could keep going for another 30 years, but they stopped taking my health insurance. All the dentists who founded the place are no longer there and to be honest it doesn’t feel the same. When I went recently, the dentist and assistant did not introduce themselves and basic manners were not as expected when going to a dentist. Then they seemed unsure of why exactly I was there as to which teeth to work on…which was disconcerting. Did they not read my chart before I arrived? Then they told me they did not have me listed as insured so I’d be paying out of pocket. Which was not accurate. I had insurance that they took until the new year and I was certain I was covered. This left me feeling like they did not prepare for my appointment with my insurance or dental records. I’ve never had that happen before especially while sitting in the dentist chair. Wouldn’t a receptionist ask me before being called in if I had my insurance card? The whole visit was unfortunately odd. The dentist did a fine job and for that I am grateful."

"This practice has changed quite a bit since they were taken over. My favorite hygienists keep quitting and if you miss an appointment (or the hygienist calls out), next available appointments are months out. I had a new (to me) hygienist today. She did not clean my teeth in an orderly manner. Jumped from area to area. She kept referring to my X-rays and it felt like she was only concerned with certain areas, not my entire mouth. Kept switching out her tools after a few scrapes with each and she didn’t seem aware of personal space. Her belly kept pushing against my head. She was a very nice person, very friendly. The whole appointment only took 35 minutes when it usually takes at least an hour. Definitely not happy with this practice now."
