"Friendly staff and a really good vibe to the place. More seating than you'd expect. Really good Vegan Sandwich BLT I'd highly recommend. Also seems like a really good spot for co-working! Will be returning if in the area."
"My experience was very poor, but mostly due to customers, not the service. We ordered 3 cold brews and a sandwich to go. Food came out pretty fast, but then we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for our cold brew coffee. I asked for milk in my drinks but the cashier told me I could add it on my own from the "milk bar" that I was literally watching people cough/sneeze/ touch all over. The lobby was crazy crowded, which I suppose is good for Dottie's, but had me stressed. A guy came in with a dog, not marked as a service dog, which is not the issue. The issue was the 6'5" dude that tripped over it, kicking the dog and nearly falling on me and my son. Then a lady, her husband, toddler and infant came in and ordered. They left the baby literally on the ground in the car seat near the register and went into the dining room, leaving the baby completely unattended with people nearly tripping on it several times. Mom and dad both looked aloof like zombies. Some old lady was staring me down, presumably because I was masking, which was very uncomfortable and obvious. By the time we finally got our order home, the sandwich was cold ( and my son said flavorless) and I ended up adding my own milk to my drinks. Can't believe this experience cost $40."
"Friendly staff, lotsa seating. Rotating art on the walls. They close early, 2pm, but it's a great spot."
"I would come here for breakfast everyday. Best place I have been to so far. Surrounding area seems a bit seedy but overall I felt safe and felt there was a supportive community here. I got an vanilla and cinammon oat milk latte and steel cut oats with bear butter, fresh fruit, and a fried egg on the side."
"Staying at the Hotel on North in late October we "discovered" Dottie's out first morning. The hotel has no breakfast options so we explored. We ate at Dottie's the entire week. As newbies we learned like everyone else that you grab a menu as you enter, order food at the register, take your number and find a table. The coffee is from a local roaster and is delicious! Both dark and light roasts. Coffee is self service unless you are getting an espresso or other barista made drink. The food is varied, well prepared and delicious. Particular favorites were the oatmeal (especially with Bear Butter), lox and bagels, egg sandwiches and the oddly compelling Barbershop Breakfast sandwich (pictured) - trust them as the menu says."
