"Each Dollar General, although following the same formula (employees stock AND tend to customers), varies significantly by the quality of its employees. Cheshire, MA DG is one of the best I've been in throughout the country. Still, upper management clearly cares more about moving cheap merchandise than its customers, and the customers don't seem to mind."
"Very well organized. A lot of these stores have boxes in the aisles, and the shelves look as though they had just thrown the items on them. This dollar General is organized and layed out well. The staff is friendly and unlike many of these places do not act like they hate being there. Having sales ppl who are not miserable makes shopping a pleasure. It is not a dollar store where everything is a dollar but their prices for the most part are good."
