"Purchased a beautiful baby corn snake for Black Friday. Because she's been there so long and returned in the past, they gave me an additional discount!"
"Stopped in for insects for our reptiles, several containers with more dead than alive. I attempted to ask the staff member putting said containers on the shelf, this "Debbie Downer" (long dyed red pony) didnt want to be bothered giving complaints of her own instead of some basic customer service . turned and left."
"This location is kinda far from my house. But I go out of my way to visit THIS store. This is the only Petco on the East Coast that sells the genetically modified mini-pets that everyone is talking about. I originally came for for a mini-giraffe, but the only one they had was 18 inches tall, which is too big for my tank. So I got the mini zebra, which was on sale. I really wish management would not cram so many mini-pets into tanks, it isn't cool & the activists that are against genetic mini-pets always point to the cruelty of overcrowded tanks when they lobby the gov't.."
"The female who helped me was just great: patient, knowledgeable and kind; also, the man at the check out was helpful and I enjoyed his sense of humor."
"Do not shop here!!! At least or especially not for fish. They do NOT maintain their tanks, and sell sickly fish. I spent about $100 (on the conservative side) trying to nurse the two fish I got there back to health and lost both also have notified the manager that they had a terrible ich infestation in their whole system and she blamed it on losing powered for a few hours, and sad it was "cleared up a few days ago, now it's back" which is not how ich works... Additionally I know that's not true as the fish in the tank with the fish I got were horrendous just as mine was so it was not cleared. Do not waste your time.or money or sanity... I know it's a chin store, but honestly they do not care about the well being of the animals in the store which is disgusting. They are living creatures. Have some empathy. And if it's your supplier then handle that t the source, and don't continue to sell fish you know are sick."
