"Very inexpensive and convenient for my purposes but I cannot recommend it for travelers. Had a smoking room for the wife that was unique. Room was clean but dated."

"It pains me to leave a bad review. If they just tried a little, I'd cut them some slack, but the room was disgusting. needs a serious cleaning, and the tub! The tub was so dirty I didn't even bother with a shower. Seriously. If you absolutely need a place to sleep and you're on a tight budget, get in, get out, and be on your way, but you're better off spending some $$ and looking elsewhere."

"The room was nice for the two nights spent there. Some surfaces appeared dirty and the walls had scratches and scuffs, plus the walls were pretty thin and you can hear people upstairs and outside the door, but overall it was comfortable for the two-night stay."

"This place is not the Waldorf, if that’s what you are looking for. It’s a low cost room for the people that are on a tight budget that want a good room for a quiet night rest. The place is not in a high traffic location, so there’s little road noise. The rooms show their wear, but are clean, the linen and room are clean, hot water in the bath/shower, a functional refrigerator, microwave and television with good cable programming. The neighborhood is quiet and low risk, and there is a small convenience store less than a block away. I’m giving it a 4 star rating for these reasons, although you wouldn’t find it on a fancy lodging list. I have stayed in hotels, motels and holes in the wall around the world, places that the wealthy elite favor and places I’d be embarrassed to admit. This place is all you need. The only drawback is that there aren’t any close restaurants to feed, other than the convenience store that is in walking distance."
