"I've seen two different doctors at this location. One did not use anesthetic when "reshaping" my bite, told me it wouldn't hurt, and it hurt so bad I now have actual flashbacks when I hear certain noises that sound like a drill. She lied. She is overly proud and said she could've fixed the filing without numbing. That's insane. Her machine also broke and spilt water all over the floor when I was there. The other one I saw interviewed me for Invisalign. She was rude too. She didn't want to talk to me about the procedures at all and she just kept shoving the page with prices on it and then told me in the end that it would be "unethical" for me to get braces and I left out of that office crying. I still need braces, and not for cosmetic reasons. I have a bad bite that causes me pain, and it's unethical for them to help me? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We had problems with the secretary too. At one point we had to call the insurance company and the secretary thought that she had transferred over to an insurance agent and was just talking to them but we were still on the line and the secretary started bad mouthing us to the agent. Unbelievable. Went for necessary care, left with new PTSD symptoms. I still need care and now I'm too scared to get it. Thank you Mrs Z and miss K, you've ruined my life."
"I have not had a check up in a while. I went in and they did an exam . I have high anxiety . The dr that saw me had no compassion and very rude. Needless to say I left crying and traumatized. It makes me not wanting to go to the Dentist at all.I will say I forgive the Dr and God Bless. Jen Haskell"
"I started having strange and very problematic dental symptoms, probably as a complication of underlying health issues. They could not see me in less than a week, for an emergency. I only accepted the appointment because my previous dentist does not accept my new insurance, I can't afford to pay out of pocket, and apparently no dentists that do accept my insurance will do real emergency appointments. The dentist was dismissive, arrogant, ignorant, and cruelly unhelpful. She basically berated me for things that are out of my control, referred me back to the doctors that I have been trying in vain to get any help from, and acted like she was not expected to know anything about how underlying health issues could affect anything in the mouth. She also vaguely said something about me maybe having a cavity, which I have not had in years, but did not seem to be too concerned about it. All in all, it was a horrible experience. Not only do I never want to see her again, I am going to be extremely hesitant to see ANY new dentist in the future."
"I came to Cambridge dental after my original dentist no longer accepted my insurance and it was close to home. My dog had decided she liked the smell and taste of caramel on my dentures and decided to eat them. Needless to say, I was in a panic and needed to get new ones. However it wasn't time for that with my insurance plan. The office staff was absolutely wonderful. They explained the process I would need to take and besides for some time, it went very smoothly. Dr. Merryman was kind and great at easing my dental fears. He was very thorough and explained the whole process. Fast forward a few months and vwala, I have a new set of teeth. The only downfall is the teeth are very much more off-color/yellow than previously and people can absolutely tell the difference, and a little narrower than my previous ones. Dr. Merryman had said, since the process is complete, he would have to talk to the office manager about having a new pair made in a different shade, because they truly are yellowish and he could add a couple extra teeth to fix the smallness of them. If that can happen, I would absolutely give 5 stars, and will update the review when I know more and accordingly. I'm hoping/thinking it shouldn't be an issue, as the office staff has been wonderful through the whole process. Especially Shelley She always called to squeeze me in if there was a cancelation or what not. Im not sure why this office seems to get a bad rep, because they have been top notch to me and I will and do highly recommend them. Thanks again Cambridge Dental and Dr. Merryman."
"Made an appointment one month before going into their office, told them specifically that I needed to leave by a certain time for work, was reassured it wouldn't be a problem. Fast forward to the appointment, filled out all paperwork, was told it WAS a problem (after I handed in the paperwork) and that they had to cancel my appointment and that I wasted their time. Left my signature and information with them, so I'll provide an update on this review if they attempt to bill me for this WASTE OF MY TIME. Took time off from my morning job to accommodate the appointment. Front receptionist was rude. (2.25.2020)"
