"It was my first time going to this dentist. Im happy I went. The staff was extremely friendly here. Explained my procedures clearly."
"People really got to have patience nowadays the wait it was not that long once I walk in they greeted me felt so welcome the doctor is amazing within 2 hours she had my tooth extracted and clean will definitely recommend this to anybody"
"Finally got in with a dentist! And they get you in for an appointment quick unlike most dentists. I also have Medicare and Medicaid and since COVID it’s been impossible getting in w a dentist. I gave 4 stars because its about a 30-45 min wait in the waiting room, but the dr was gentle and kind."
"DONT GO HERE! I just had the worst experience of my life. My appointment was for noon and wasn’t even called back until 12:50 (which can be forgiven and is understandable to an extent) I did my x rays which were ok. Once I was seen by Dr.Porter I was highly uncomfortable at the lack of professionalism and abrasive attitude. Majority of people have a fear of the dentist including myself and this is the exact reason why. There was zero understanding and no empathy. The cleaning was mediocre at best. She was ripping away at the plaque buildup on my teeth which resulted in me bleeding and it was actually painful. There should be zero pain with a basic have teeth cleaning. I explained to her that it hurt and she just brushed me off. The office instead was highly unprofessional, not sterile and overall just dirty. I’ve never been in a place like this. The doctor was so rude and I would never return. I’ve read other reviews and have read horror stories of children being mistreated, doctor not numbing patient enough even after they express they were in pain and could feel the procedure etc. Don’t go to this place. I don’t know how they even practice dentistry."
"If I could give zero stars, I would. Service was subpar and borderline unethical. I went and had X-rays performed. The dentist did not go over the X-ray with me, but told me “that tooth needs to come out”. Due to being under the care of a cardiologist, I had to receive a clearance to schedule the extraction. Date of my appointment, there was still no discussion of why the tooth needed to be extracted, nor the option of a root canal. The environment nor the tools appeared to be sterile. She was working on several clients, and it seemed to be very suspect the flow of the facility in comparison to other dental providers I had previously been to. Despite my doubts, I proceeded. I was numbed with Novocain. She did not numb the roof of my mouth, and I was told she couldn’t. Then she attempted to start looking in my mouth. I felt EVERYTHING, as she was examining the wrong tooth!! I immediately got up and proceeded to call Aspen dental. The very next day, I went to Aspen, just to be informed of the severity of the damage to my tooth, and that the tooth next to it also required work, as it was damaged as well. The dentist not only showed me the X-ray, but explained in detail exactly what was going on and the source of my pain. She provided options of treatment to me. I was told that there needed to be scraping to the bone of the gum and additional work to ensure I would be able to get an implant at a later time, as well as sutures that would require me to come back and be removed. I was sent home with a prescription for antibiotics, and scheduled for my extraction. That was a Friday. Yesterday (Monday), I had the tooth extracted. The dentist numbed both the roof of my mouth and the insides between cheek and gums with gel before using the needle. The environment was completely sterile, and the level of professionalism was amazing! I will firmly suggest anyone thinking about going here to reconsider. It’s not worth it!!! I will be submitting a formal complaint, as there was clearly some serious, unethical behaviors going on, and it seemed like the norm. They accept Medicaid, and the government should be aware of the behaviors of providers charging and billing for services that are being performed on people that aren’t meeting quality standards! Horrible establishment!!"
