"This is the best Italian restaurant in Philadelphia. If you want authentic Italian food, this is the place. The dishes are light and sophisticated, the service is very personable and warm and the ambiance is uplifting."
"honestly the food was pretty good i won’t lie. except my boyfriends pasta portion was so tiny it was confusing. the reason i will never return here is the atmosphere. the service was terrible and you could hear the managers conversation in the kitchen, he was cursing left and right it was so uncomfortable. for the price it just wasn’t worth it"
"My recent restaurant week experience in Philly was extremely disappointing, ranking among the worst restaurant week dining experiences I've had in the city. The ambiance upstairs was lackluster, with a low ceiling, wobbly chairs, and worn carpet setting a negative tone. The food was equally disappointing, with under-seasoned shrimp, a small crab cake, poorly presented pasta, and shared dessert plate that felt unrefined. Additionally, our server's frequent smoke breaks added to the disappointment, as the food often arrived with a cigarette odor. Considering the price, I felt $45 was a significant overcharge for this subpar experience compared to other Philly restaurants offering superior quality during restaurant week. Even the complimentary bread was the highlight, underscoring the overall disappointment. Sadly, I won't be returning to this restaurant."
"The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very attentive to our wants and needs. The restaurant in itself was kind of small, but the atmosphere was very cozy, and it felt almost like a family reunion with people that you've never met. The owner and the chef were also wonderful and made us feel so welcomed. I would definitely come back to this establishment."
