"When someone asks the price of an oil change, tell them the ENTIRE price. Don’t say it’s $50 and then add the mechanics fee at the end. It’s hard for everyone right now and that $30 makes a difference."
"I had my oil changed at this location three weeks ago. My son broke down on the highway with the oil light coming on. Checked the dip stick and it was bone dry. The car doesn’t drive over ten mph. There’s no way the oil change was done correctly at your location. This is a costly repair and this is not acceptable work by your location."
"I will never deal with Jiffy Lube in Brookhaven again I might not deal with the company in general paid 120 some dollars from my mobile one 10,000 mile oil change 1500 miles into my 10,000 mile oil change. My oil light came on I thought no big deal. I would just check it myself. Perhaps it’s a bit low, my dipstick was bone dry the Rowan’s less then one of oil in my car. The oriental guy at Jiffy Lube told me my car must be burning oil in 1500 miles. He said my car burned 3.5 quarts of oil my car does not burn oil does not leak oil there’s no markings on the driveway under my car or at work. Nothing when I said to the guy you guys didn’t do my oil change correctly he called the mechanic that supposedly did the work, he swore to “God” he put 4 quarts in my car even though my car requires 4.5 quarts so I ask him where are the other 3 1/2 quarts he could not answer me they offered to “tip-off “ my vehicle as they referred to it. I had already purchased the the products needed to do my own oil change correctly. With mobile one they refused to give me my money back they flat out called me a liar. I will never even drive past that place and turn my head towards it. it is a rip off that should be put on the business years ago. I did report this to the Better Business Bureau because I know for a fact it has happened to several other people I have discussed it with. I don’t know what kind of employment standards Jiffy Lube requires of their employees, but lying thieves, are not the best ones to put in and your customers cars you’re putting faith in someone who’s just trying to rip you off and there’s no reason for it it’s not even like they’re paying for the material themselves they’re just stealing your money Seems like the one simple job they had to do they could not even accomplish correctly. Perhaps we should raise the hiring standards"
"They got me in right away. That's about the only positive. My car is a relatively new model, about a year old. Their system told them they had my filter in stock. They didn't. Their supplier happened to show up for something else, but didn't have my filter so he was sent back and 30 or so minutes later, he showed up with the wrong part. The manager went to get the part himself, but he was gone for 45 minutes or so. Turns out he had to go to the dealership. Once he was back it was quick. He didn't use the right coupon and I think upcharged me for the specialized filter. The dealership would have been cheaper, but in one sense, it was my fault for simply not making an appointment at the dealership. I stopped at a couple small shops on my way there and of course they were busy. One of them said "I wouldn't let Jiffy Lube touch my lawn mower" and I thought they were just being petty, but I guess there was something to what they said. They shouldn't pull a filter until they have the new one in hand... that would have saved me an afternoon. UPDATE: Reply to owner reply There's no way that making me wait 2 hours because there was a mistake about whether you had the filter in stock is going "out of their way". Again, have the filter in hand before you begin the job. I would have been more happy being turned away because you didn't have it then spending a significant chunk of my day off in the waiting room lobby not knowing what was happening. That is in NO way going out of their way to satisfy me. I would have been more satisfied had they simply said we made a mistake, we don't have your filter and we're going to put the old back in and of course there would be no charge and sorry for the inconvenience. Instead I was charged more for the same service at the dealership. Please explain how you went out of the way to satisfy me rather than just "closing the deal" and recouping the cost of the premium oil you dropped into my engine thinking you had the filter when you didn't. Is it really standard operating procedure to spend hours searching the state, looking for the filter or should someone have simply told me it wasn't available. Take ownership and own the mistake. The word I think you were looking for was SORRY. Sure the individuals tried and they did a great job on the tire rotation. They tried to rectify the mistake with the oil filter and ultimately did a couple hours later, but honestly it shouldn't have happened and it should have cost as much as it did in my time and money. You add insult to injury when you say they went "out of their way"... I didn't go to your business because I wanted "out of their way" service. I wanted a routine oil change done right in a timely manner."
"I got jiffy lubed. Jiffy lube doesn’t require appointments. Nonetheless, I called the night before to ask if this jiffy lube location was doing inspections the next day. I was specifically told that yes, they will be doing inspections between 10 and 2 and that I should bring my documents. I show up to a line of cars waiting to enter the service bay. I ask if it is the line for inspections and was told “the inspector is not in” and that there would be no inspections. Waste of time."
