"Check in was easy & pleasant; Pre-Op and OR Nurse were also Great! Unfortunately my 9am surgery was delayed well over an hour and nobody came by with any info on why or when I might be going in. In the meantime my wife was sitting outside in her car waiting and expecting me to be outside by 10:15. After an hour lying there waiting I finally got someones attention walking by to find out what was happening. She mentioned that the surgeron was in surgery and delayed and she would call my wife when I went in. A little communication would have gone a long way here. Unfortunately there was none. If you're surgery is delayed someone from staff should at least have the courtesy to let you know what's happening!"

"I had an outpatient surgical procedure there on May 23, '12. It went as smoothly as possible; general anaesthesia, administered by Dr. Skeete, was utterly effective. One moment, I was in the O.R., commenting about the ELO tune on the radio, and the next, I was in the recovery room getting ready to leave. The people were nice, very competent and friendly. I would recommend this facility to any physician who needs it and to any patient who needs care. All in all, a 10 - rating for the Lewes Surgery Center."
