"The service is very poor! When I checked out, she was making an appointment for another customer! I said I can wait for her to make an appointment first, or will she come together on both sides! Then make an appointment for me. I asked if I could come back a few days earlier. I won't be here for over a month and she's very impatient. She said you should do what your doctor asked you to do first, and then call back when you want to come back! Finally, I left and forgot to give me a blood test report, so I have to keep telling you! She just replied, 'Let me see if the doctor has given you anything else!'! Only give it to me after reading it! The service is too poor, I shouldn't be going back there anymore"

They are responsive to my request to schedule an appointment in a timely manner when an unexpected illness arises. "Eastern Shore Medical Center has been my PCP for several years now, and I’ve never had any issues. The office staff is friendly and professional, whether I interact with them in person or over the telephone. Scheduling appointments is stress-free; I haven’t had to wait long to get in for an appointment. The wait times for scheduled appointments are consistent enough that I can schedule another appointment immediately after and feel confident that I can get in and out quick enough to make it to the other one on time. The waiting room and restrooms are clean and spacious and equipped with a television. Parking is adequate; however, there is a big dip where the parking lot meets the street at the rear exit. The back end of some vehicles may drag unless the drop is approached from an angle. Medication refills are hassle-free, for the most part. When issues do arise, it's usually a situation where the script was sent electronically, but my pharmacy could not locate it in their system. Resolving the matter is quick and easy. I have complex medical issues that leave me prone to severe complications. My healthcare needs are complicated and require careful consideration and input from multiple sources. This involves a multidisciplinary strategy and an ability to synthesize and integrate recommendations made by various specialists involved in my care. Everyone, from the office staff to the nurses, doctors, and nurse practitioners, has played vital roles in helping me manage my healthcare needs, and I couldn’t ask for better."

"This is an effective & small doctor's office. The staff are very busy most of the time, but when it is your turn they are very good at their job helping you for what you came in for. Someone expecting to be treated with "restaurant server hospitality" has unrealistic expectations, but they do their job correctly every time I have been there. That is what counts. I've been going here for over 16 years now. I use Dr. Satyal. He is rational. He will listen to all the details of what is causing you trouble, but won't pamper to your personal online research suggestions (which he shouldn't). He uses his medical knowledge effectively and has great specialty doctor recommendations if sending you to get further testing."

"Terribly sad to know that Dr. Thimm is leaving. He is the only reason I've maintained my care at this practice. The clerical staff is terribly rude, standoffish, unfriendly and make you feel like a burden to them. So many times when I've been ill, I've dreaded calling the office for an appointment. I guess it all works out for me, personally, since my PCP is no longer there, I can leave and find a new one."
