"On the recommendation from a friend, I decided to give this doctor a shot after my last doctor ignored an A1C test that I had taken a year before. When he noticed that my blood sugar was borderline, he administered his own A1C test and determined that I was prediabetic. So, an entire year passed that I wasn't being treated. Dr. Ope is incredibly knowledgeable and explains things in detail so that you can understand. He immediately took me off of one medication that was interacting with a genetic blood disorder and change the dosage of another. He is also very proactive with health over medication and in the 3 months I have been frequenting him, my blood pressure has improved, I've lost 14 lbs and I'm sleeping better than ever. He is very down to earth and aporoachable, and listens to all your concerns. He is no doubt the best doctor I have ever had. I will be very sad when he retires."

"Got refused service when walked in because I had my children with me!!! Didn't matter what I walked In for, Not to mention felt uncomfortable when Dr. OPI did an EKG on me, told me to remove my bra and shirt and didn't send a woman to place it on me as he did it himself!! In my lifetime I've never had to remove a sports bra or shirt to do a EKG!! HORRIBLE AND UNCOMFORTABLE!! FIND CARE ELSEWHERE!!"

"Friendly people but careful with billing, make sure your insurance codes are exactly what this DR is billing. Received a collections on my credit report after going in for a yearly check-up and blood work. I explained to Dr. Ope what my insurance covers and that I'm there for a general check-up. He assured me he knows what to bill for and will follow the coverage guidelines. I have since moved from there area, only to find out that I have an outstanding bill. Now I have to fight with the insurance company and debt collections to clear the record."
