Reviews of Oxygen Body Piercing And Tattoo Shop
"Got a small finger tattoo covered from here. Payed over 300$ for it "because its a coverup." It completely faded and can see the original tat 2 weeks after leaving this shop. I had to go to a different shop to get it recovered and they only charged me 50$. I will never go back to oxygen tattoo. They don't know how to tat"
"please do not go here. me and my friend got mid cartilage piercings here and both of our piercings got so badly infected to the point where our ears closed over the earring and we had to take them out. my friend’s got infected shortly after it was pierced, but mine was fine. i continued to clean it with the kit i was forced to buy, and it was perfectly fine and then it was not. my ear closed over my earring over night and the earring isn’t even visible now. it’s extremely painful and obviously infected to the point of me becoming ill. it is impossible to take the back off to take the earring out, so now i need to get it professionally removed. it also was extremely expensive, nearing $200 for one piercing with their scam cleaning kit i was forced into buying. thank you so much oxygen for stealing my money and causing me immense pain"
"i got my first tattoo a few days ago at this place. i liked the artist, he was very focused on his work. he didn’t speak any english so if he had a question he would get one of his coworkers to translate which i appreciated. id rather him get up to get someone to ask a question rather than just do what he thought. the stencil didn’t show the very faint lines so he looked at the original picture and took his time adding in the small details. the guy downstairs, i believe his name is juan, was very nice and helpful with all my questions. the only thing i will say is that it was a little overpriced because my tattoo is small, simple, and no color. otherwise great place for something small. my tattoo is still wrapped up but i’ll add a pic :)"
"Brought my five year old daughter here during our week long vacation in June. We came in June 21, it was a rainy day. She wanted to get a hair wrap. The girl did a great job wrapping it and was very patient with a five year old in the chair. Also added some glitter to it for free. It seemed to take a long time and I wondered if it was too tight but my daughter didn't seem bothered. Today is July 24. The ENTIRE hair wrap fell out, hair attached. She now has a HUGE bald spot at the top of her head. The hair at the top of the wrap is completely brittle and dried out like a dreadlock. I'm not sure if it's because her hair is fine as it is, nobody mentioned that it would do this, nobody gave me any kind of tips for managing it. The girl barely spoke English so I don't even know if she would have been able to tell us anything anyway. I'm so upset for her because it's not even a small one. I am so disappointed and I can't even do anything for her except slick it back and have her wear a ponytail all summer until it starts to grow back. I can't even do anything except write this review and hope that parents will be more careful in choosing where they take their kids to have this done because I live too far away to basically go there and demand anything and honestly what would they do for me? Because it's literally a matter of waiting for the hair to grow back. Hopefully it's looking better by the time she goes back to school in a month."
"From the first impression to the last it was great. The 2 guys at the front desk (8/21/21) were wonderful, patient and very accommodating. This was my first tattoo and I was nervous. The moment we met Ben he put me at ease. He was funny, professional, kind and most of all gentle (as you can be with a needle)! I 100% would drive 4.5 hours to see him again if I wanted another one. We also looked at another one on the boardwalk and first impressions were not good! They were rude and not willing to hear us out about a design we wanted! I’m so glad we decided to stop here! Ask for Ben and you won’t be disappointed!"
