Reviews of First World Tattoo
"Kyle and Belle have the most welcoming energy. As soon as I walked in to First World Tattoo both Kyle and Belle made me feel comfortable and understood. They gave their best effort to make my art vision come alive on my skin. They are wonderful artists, and there was never a dull moment throughout every appointment I have made. Kyle and Belle have both tattooed me, and I was extremely pleased with the outcome of every tattoo I received from each of them. They are kind, generous, thoughtful people who create beautiful art. After meeting Kyle and Belle, and experiencing their energy, while also loving the atmosphere of the tattoo shop itself, I already knew I would only want to be tattooed here from now on. They are lovely human beings who uplift and inspire every person that walks through their tattoo shop. Thank you again for the amazing art and the kindness of your hearts."
"Allow me to start from the beginning. I saw on Google maps a few months ago this tattoo shop near my house about ten minutes away. Got an appointment, went in for a tattoo. Not to be judgy, as I have no idea what's wrong with this guy, but he is incredibly sweaty every time I go here, clumsy, hunched over, eyes dilated. He actually opened up about being an ex addict which I also use to be so I am not uncomfortable about that, but I get the Sense he's not really an 'ex' addict. Which isn't any of my business, I'm saying this because any artist under the influence should NOT be tattooing. Anyway, he does my tattoo and did an okay job, but he skid my upper thigh on accident and didn't notice until I said something. He made up for it by making a negative star which was cool I guess. I'm an artist myself, I went to art school. I do realism, animation, paintings, and as I was getting my tattoo done, we spoke about this. He told me he was looking for someone on the younger side who is into art to become an apprentice. Me looking for apprenticeship for months got very excited. He told me he'd maybe hire me, and to come in a few days later so we can take a look at more of my art. I came up with slide shows of all my art and my portfolio, texted him a time that would be okay for the both of us. He said that was fine, so before I was going to leave, messaged him once more, but he's busy. This happens again twice and finally he totally ghosts me. Rip. Well, that's until I give him a call for a septum piercing. He tells me to go in around 10 PM on a weekday. Which is weird as hell because the place closes at like 6. He said he was just gonna be in the shop later, so I brought my girl friend to come with me and one other random guy who I guess was his friend was there watching. As said before this guy is super sweaty. He was hunched over me, piercing me, sweat all over the place. He pierced it fine, but Jesus. Not to mention, he had me bring in my own jewelry which is fine because he let me off a good 20 bucks. But I accidentally left the rest of my jewelry there, which I guess he took without asking because he didn't have any and the third time I came to this place, he never even mentioned it or asked if i wanted it back. Whatever. So, I called in last night for a memorial tattoo for my dog and I and he was fine with it. Told me to come in at 8, a later time once again, which I said yes to buy advised I may be a little late. I show up at least 45 minutes late which he was fine with. This guy had almost an hour to get everything set up. Nothing was set up, he was still drawing everything out, which this has happened to me a few times in the past, I'm not impatient or anything. I sat there for a good hour before he put the stencil on and some random chick walked in. Turns out, this was his new apprentice who seemingly was around the same age as me, 18-19 maybe. So, instead of just telling me he's hiring someone else, this guy completely ghosted me and has some VERY younger person coming in late at night. This REALLY pissed me off. Then, another random guy walks in, and the tattoo artist and this random guy goes into a dark room for like 20 minutes while I wait. At this point I was waiting another 2 hours because it was almost 11. I asked the new apprentice what's going on and she didn't say much so I just left. Disappointing."
"I very rarely give reviews. The owner and artist of this shop was phenomenal. I've been tattooed by countless artist, but Kyle is the most meticulous one I have ever met. So detailed oriented. We became instant friends and I could not see myself in the future go anywhere but there."
"I called Saturday (7/16) to get prices on the stuff i wanted done. Had planed to go in but something came up and i unfortunately had something come up, they called me twice to make sure i was going to come in and check in with me on if i still wanted my stuff done. I went in today (7/18) and the environment was well lit and clean and there was music and Aaron was super friendly and made me feel comfortable and made conversation the whole time with me! He was gentle and very considerate!! Got everything done fast and professionally!! I LOVE them!! The only thing is they are named first American tattoo or something along the lines of that, NOT the hokey pokey anymore. Regardless, 10/10 i will be going back!! ♥️♥️"
"I chose this shop to do my septum piercing based off of their great reviews and clean atmosphere. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I ended up passing out during my septum piercing. HA! I woke up with 2 clients-one of which just happened to be an EMT, my boyfriend, and shop owners all standing around me. They took such great care of me until I felt well enough to leave. The shop owners are such caring individuals, they knew exactly what to do. I walked in a stranger and left feeling like I just made new friends. I would choose this shop time and time again. Thank you again for your top notch service and hospitality!! I love my piercing!"
