"They don't understand me being sick"

"I just wanna start off by saying the people at Omni Vineland are amazing my therapist lordes gives me Great advice helps me When I’m feeling down or having a off day she lets me vent and then give her in put which is always dead on she’s my lifeline.then you have Jen she’s the receptionist she knows my number always polite always super nice if I have a issue with anything she handles it right then n there. Now you have dr mordi who isn’t like other dr he actually listens and takes into account your input he’s the best dr I have I tell him this Everytime he’s makes me feel like he has my back no matter what nd I can trust him . Basically if you’re in need of help like I did go here they make you feel like family love all you guys thanks for always being there for me Since day . Sincerely Michael Mattio"

"At first I thought everything was ok. But after going there for a few months, the security would gossip with other employees instead of checking her computer to put you in as a check in or to put you in for next appointment. Then the therapist that I had, she kept talking about much she missed living near the beach. When I was evaluated there it turned out I have anxiety, social anxiety, depression and PTSD (which I already told the therapist but she had to take her own tests). First thing and only thing she wanted me to do was go to group therapy (at other places not linked to this one) and that will cure me of all my mental health problems. Not only was (and still am) struggling with my mental health issues but I have children and just had my twins. I kept telling the therapist that my plate was already full and just jumping right into group sessions, just thinking about it was giving me anxiety. As I said I was going for several months, and all those months she kept saying that I need to go to group therapy, knowing my situation and on top of that my grandfather’s health wasn’t doing well (which she knew cause I kept bringing all of these things up) she said since her “help” wasn’t getting me any better that she had to talk to her supervisor. My next visit I cried my heart and soul out because unfortunately my grandfather did pass away. As I was crying and going through all of these things, she just sat there like she couldn’t wait to make things worse. Once I was done talking and opening up, she says “well anyway today is your last day since you don’t want to do anything I suggest and you don’t seem to be getting any better and getting closer to the goals we set up”. With tissue in hand and still a bit teary eyed she personally made it her decision to walk me out. To this day I had other therapists react to my experience here and they all tell me that the therapist acted unprofessionally. I go through so many therapist cause I don’t fully open up anymore like I did here. I was kicked out the day my grandfather passed away, a day I need someone to talk to. So I don’t open up like I should anymore."

"Was going here for almost 3 years and was never tested for anything. I received talk therapy and a Dr would call, talk to you for 8 minutes and then prescribe medication. My last therapist told me it was against company policy to speak to me while I was in a parking lot. She kept assuming I was driving even after I told her I wasn’t. 3 years 3 different therapists… I’m happier where I’m at now"

"They treat you more like you are their job rather than an actual human. They released me after I formally canceled an appointment twice. They deserve the two and a half star rating on here"
