"We spent close to $600 on 7 trees (3 evergreens, 3 nandinas, 1 crape myrtle) and a bush from here on Memorial Day weekend. The 3 nandinas started failing after a couple of weeks. We called and they said we were over watering (usually leaves turn yellow if that's the case), so we cut back on the water. At that time, it was just one tree. Shortly after that, the other two started dying and now all three are completely dead. The rest of our trees and plants are thriving. Two of our neighbors own a huge nursery that sells to Home Depot and are very knowledgeable about plants. They helped and said we were doing everything right. My husband called several times over the last four weeks asking for someone to come and take a look. He did not ask for a freebie, just common courtesy to help the situation. When he spoke with them today, now four weeks later, Christine, the owner, said she stopped by and everything was soaked and they died from root rot. Our neighbors house is very close to ours and he had left the sprinkler on by accident so the ground was a bit wet. However, the water didn't reach as far as the nandinas.The trees have already been dying for a couple of weeks and this had nothing to do with it. She was very unprofessional on the phone and did not even offer a discount for new trees. We don't expect something for free but should be given a percentage off new trees. We are self-employed with a successful company and would never treat a customer this way. I do not recommend Wildflower Nursery."

They carry a nice variety of products and always have what I want even though they are not a large nursery. What I like best? Their customer service. They explain things and give the best advice in a friendly yet professional manner. They have been so helpful to me from delivering mulch, to making recommendations, to carrying my purchases to my car. I have instantly liked everyone I have dealt with there over the years. Maybe it's because they are a small, family-run business that is more concerned with providing a service and a pleasant place to shop, rather than with making a large profit."
