"After a reccomendation to speak with someone, I went to see Marissa. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with a counselor and was already hesitating see another one. I went for a few sessions and each time with her I felt like I was “on the clock” and that there was no guidance to get to the root cause of any issues and didn’t walk out of there with a clear direction of next steps on dealing with situations. But I didn’t give up and wanted to keep trying as she is a nice person. Unfortunately I lost my job and in return lost my insurance and had to cancel an appointment. It’s been almost 6 months now and not a single phone call or email to at least follow up on how I’m doing, when can we meet again, nothing. I truly felt like I was just another number there. Very upsetting especially since my experience in the past was similar and will really have a hard time speaking to someone again."
