Reviews of AutoZone Auto Parts
"Husband called to check on a part. The one guy who took the call assured my husband he had the item in his hands. I get there, and he says, "I'm sorry, I thought I had it." It's in the system, but we can't find it."
"Stopped at the closest auto parts store when my headlight switch failed while traveling. I required the switch to be visually matched not looked up by application which they were willing to do. I'll explain why later. The first one was close, but slightly different. After digging deeper we found the correct one but it wasn't in stock. If I was unable to find one I'd be limited to driving without lights so the employee suggested I try NAPA a couple blocks down the street. They were very rude, even offended that I was referred by their competition. They also hung up on me several times because they were having telephone problems. I left napa 3 star rating which was generous, but AutoZone deserves 5 star. Not only were they willing to find me the correct number they seemed more interested in solving my emergency than making a sale. As a retired mechanic I was thrilled to see customer dedicated service like this. Continue reading if you would like details on why this was a difficult job finding a common part. My vehicle is a custom built Recreational Vehicle built on a bus chassis. I knew it used Ford wiring and it was a common part in use in 1995 when the chassis was built. However no parts stores have listings for this vehicle, yet it is built with common parts. Turns out the correct part was first used in 1985 Ford F350 truck. "I am not going to describe who it was nor when it happened, but please PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES ENOUGH so that they care. You never know what someone is going through and being hung up on, hearing them say "Oh she's pissed," when I asked for a manager (I was polite and pleasant, by the way,) and then they put me on hold and ignored me.. Refused to answer my calls when I called back. I had to use a different phone to get someone to answer. They mocked me, laughed at my partner, and generally treated us like garbage for no reason. I'm not some Karen - I've worked retail and I get it. I just wanted to let someone know they should be more careful. This world is cruel enough as it is, there's no reason for that kind of behavior. Made an awful day just that much worse. Y'all know who I am and you know who you are. Just please, do better. Be human to eachother. Is that so much to ask for?"
"Woman at the counter said we had to come back another day to return some items because she had closed the cash drawer already….. over an hour before closing. She also stated it was bought at another store so the return would be more difficult. So I guess she just didn’t want to do her job. Update: we drove to the Autozone in Oxford they helped with the return, no issues. Kudos to them."
"Always very helpful this place. I do agree that they probably need a little bit more help because the wait line sometimes is long but other than that very neat clean and very helpful or every single worker in there I get in I get what I need and I get out and they always have what I need that's something else that is very important and the people who work there are educated and that is also important."
