"Love Dr. Gupta he listens to my concerns and gives me his honest feedback!"
"Horrible place! The secretary was the only kind understanding person there. The nurse practitioner I was given there got me hooked on a benzo and made it seemed fine for me when knowing the addiction and withdrawal rates with this medicine. The psychiatrist there is really weird, he was rude an argument I’ve to me when I tried to kindly ask for more appropriate anxiety meds that weren’t addictive and didn’t want to listen to my concerns. Then the whole office turned there back on me when I tried to return for helped years later for something they started me on in the first place an left me hanging with no other resources despite my efforts to ignore there ignorance. Don’t waste your time with this office, in the long run it won’t be worth it. Unless your not an unfortunate case like me being taken advantage of an tossed aside."
"My interactions with Dr. Iacono have been wonderful for the healing journey I've recently undergone. However, I rate this place 2 stars based on an interaction I had with one of the receptionists. It was an older white lady with glasses. Due to the nature of my mental health, I took a mental health leave from work; but my job demands I get some paperwork signed validating the diagnoses from my psychiatrist before I am allowed to return to work. It's been like a month-and-a-half. So, recently, I went to take said paperwork to their office to have Dr. Iacono sign it in order for me to return to work. I went in and spoke with this older white lady about my situation. She informed Iacono was on vacation, which was unfortunate, but I'm completely understanding of the need to take vacations. What did upset me, however, was how the lady spoke to me. She was very curt, taking the paperwork from me and saying "i'll see what I can do." This was over a week ago at this point, and I have received no update, which has left me to wait another two weeks without work, without a paycheck. Yet, this facet of the encounter was not even the worst part. I am non-binary. My legal name is Dalton; but I choose to go by Dominique (Iacono of course is aware of both identities, writing it down during our session and calling me that from that point forward). Due to this fact, I informed the lady of my chosen name and she looked at me as if I had three heads. She brushed it off by saying "I need your legal name," and she didn't even write my chosen name down on the sticky note. Her actions in response to the disclosure of my true, queer self left me feeling very judged, uncomfortable, and uncared for. Of course, I am aware that my legal name is necessary to the process of getting this paperwork signed, but I still felt so disrespected by her neglect of my chosen name. I will still be in contact with Iacono as his work has given me no reason to complain, but I will most certainly avoid interaction with the receptionist whose actions I viewed to be neglectful and offensive to who I am (or rather who I am becoming as recognizing my queerness has been a vital part of the healing process I am undergoing). Due to her reaction, I will be explicitly avoiding interaction with this particular receptionist You'd really expect there to be more compassion and empathy from those involved in mental health services."
"The doctors at both locations are really nice and caring and willing to go out of their way to help you with your needs including spending extra time and really listening to you, remembering you, your not just money in their bank accounts. Thank you Dr. Rhoda and Dr. Julie."
"This place is absolutely wonderful! Dr. Gupta saved my life! He is so compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, never acts hurried and encourages me to be involved in my care unlike most doctors I've seen. The TMS tech, Linda is also incredible. This is such a non judgemental office. They have many options and I chose the Brainsway TMS. I couldn't be happier with it. The office is so clean, beautifully decorated and very comforting. I've been recommending them to everyone I know who is in need for this type of service."
