"Mental Edge will charge you $100 for every missed appointment and send you to collections in the blink of an eye. As if they don’t have enough patients to drain money from they actively try to take from people who were displeased with their services in the first place. They should call it Mental Ledge for driving people into depression. The ‘therapist’ I had was visibly “unhealthy” and couldn’t stop eating and drinking. If you can’t control what you put in your mouth who are you to tell me to control my emotions? $100 for every missed appointment is atrocious, these people profit on you being mentally unwell, and only make money off of you if you are in their office, they do not want you to get better. PS: Do not type out a corporate “I am sorry we didn’t meet your expectations” I don’t want it."

"My therapist let me lie to her repeatedly, and refused to listen to my husband telling the truth. She never had a plan or goal oriented nothing. I was stunned she spent more time eating and drinking than talking. Her fix for all my problems was to divorce my husband. She let me reschedule and reschedule to meet my affair in the parking lot to use her office and appointment times to trick my husband. Now that I have a real counselor, boy was I cheated and my insurance company. Beware"

"We absolutely love Mental Edge Counseling! Finding the right therapist can be tough and we are thankful to have John as our therapist. The staff are equally great and friendly. They have helped our family tremendously for both family and individual therapy. The office is clean, appointment scheduling is easy and while there is a fee for not showing up to your appointment they are super accommodating with options to prevent a no show fee! We can’t forget Whisper, the therapy Doodle either!"

"Sky-high no-show fees ($100 each) that can quickly add up when you're being seen for *executive dysfunction*. If I could make it on time consistently I would do so. I don't have a steady income and I can't take the hit. Additionally, most therapists are woefully inexperienced with autism, ADHD and trauma, and I've frequently been looked at like some kind of pet project. Only one of their three med providers is any good, and their work is outsourced so it's hard to stay in contact at all. It's a nice building with nice people but I can't help feeling like the whole practice is predatory."
