"I have to give one star to expose joe the liar. I was recommended by a friend saying joe pays top dollar and seems to be genuine. Over the years and 20 relationships later i have a ton of jewelry taking up a lot of space and never going to be used for anything so i brought a nice bracelet after doing some homework to see how honest joe was so i had my brother take without giving him any info except the gold was 22kt and weighed a point under 25 grams which was weighed on 3 finely recently calibrated scales used by nasa so i'm pretty sure just as accurate if not more accurate then the one joe uses. I expected joe would take his cut and expected to get 20 grams worth. 24 kt gold value was over 1500 an oz and 41 something per gram. So i calculated the 22 kt gold bracelet at 35 a gram at 20 grams. Top dollar joe paid 420 for the gold when if you do the math is 700 and i checked 4 websites that were all more then 420. I feel like joe ripped my brother off and isnt honest at all or does he pay top dollar i sold 18kt gold to a pawn shop within a grambor 2 weight difference and they paid me more then top dollar joe. Now joe made a comment about he didnt know where my brother figured out he should receive around 800 when he investigated it on his own i offered him half the value so he was trying to get the best value he could for his benefit. I dont recommend goingbto joe nor will i ever go there again but will be confronting joe or i will be making a reportwith the better business bureau."
