"I was a patient of Dr. DeLuca's for many, many years. We had (what I thought) was a good doctor-patient relationship. She had performed invasive procedures on me, both in the office and in a surgical center. She was aware of my medical history and, as such, she provided excellent care for many years. She always treated me like someone she knew and cared about... until she didn't. One day out of the blue, during a routine visit, she did a complete Jekyll-Hyde turnaround and treated me like a complete stranger who was bothering her in some way. She was curt, rude, condescending and she rushed my appointment. I was absolutely shocked and hurt by the way she spoke to me and treated me that day. Perhaps she was having a bad day. But in my opinion that would not excuse her disturbing behavior. That was the last time I saw the woman. Since then I have been seeing Dr. Chao and am very happy with her. Obviously I do not use my real name for reviews due to privacy issues. But I can assure you that everything stated above is a factual account of my experiences. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Samamtha DeLuca."

"If I could give negative stars I would. Dr DeLuca is by far the most condescending and inconsiderate medical professional I have ever been to. Went to her because her reviews were good. Man was I mistaken. I started to go to her late January until a week ago for a ongoing issue. After going through the preliminaries of blood work and testing; each visit I would be constantly fat shamed as to why I'm having the issues that I am and also refused any type of treatment whatsoever until she was satisfied. So the last 3 or 4 visits there she persistently fat shamed me and my last visit when we talked about how much I've lost so far which was 10lbs in about 3 or 4 weeks, she had the audacity to belittle me more by saying "just imagine how much you could lose if you actually tried to lose weight, but I'm so proud of what few lbs you've lost." Like she was praising a dog. And that is my last visit to that dr and office. I encourage anybody not just those who struggle with their weight to avoid her like the plague."
