"I am transitioning from an out-of-state primary, closer to home. I need both an OBGYN and primary and began to search for both in the local area. I had my initial visit with Dr. Elizabeth Pernal and a yearly exam. She seemed professional, efficient, and said that she would work with me as I looked for a new primary doctor. She said she would refill my prescribed medications. When I left my former office, I called Dr. Pernal's office again to ask if I needed to schedule an appointment to discuss prescriptions and refills before it was necessary to have them refilled. I was told that I had an appointment scheduled already. Just call when refills were needed. When it came time to refill my prescriptions, she did not honor her word. Her staff was extremely rude and made it difficult to speak with the doctor--even by message--they spoke directly for Dr. Pernal concerning the prescriptions she said she would fill and told me that she would NOT fill my prescriptions. Now, I am transitioning primaries, careers, insurance, AND states and this office has left me without any options to continue my medications in a timely fashion. If you enjoy being lied to, treated unprofessionally over the phone, if you like being given the run around when it's time to refill prescribed medications, the audacity of this office, (Sue, Rhonda, and Elizabeth Pernal) are just the people to visit (or call.) Wow."

"I have been going to Dr. Pernal for 17+ yrs and she delivered my oldest a yr later after a tragic miscarriage. Let me just say she was so patience and attentive to me after my miscarriage then thankfully I was blessed with my oldest daughter. Dr. Pernal is truly an amazing, super woman in my eyes, and I greatly appreciate her, and the staff are absolutely patient and professional!"

"It is almost impossible to reach the office for any issue (rescheduling, scheduling, cancelling, anything you might need- they will not answer). I find it extremely unprofessional to be this unreachable. The care is not worth all of this wait. They give paper scripts and do not work with pharmacies. Healthcare deserves to be easily accessible."

"If you notice the trend to these reviews the receptionist staff is horrendous and rude and has no compassion for anybody but themselves! I am handicapped, not that that is any excuse but I have to use handicap transportation and I am at there discretion on when they drop me off when I got through the door the staff immediately started hollering at me you do not have an appointment, you cannot stay here and then shouted to another receptionist go stop that bus don't let him leave she has to go. Because they were closing for lunch and my appointment was 10 minutes after their lunch hour they would not let me stay, they would not let me sit outside, the bus driver had to take me back home. Even the bus driver told me if you don't complain about this I'm going to be mad at you because you're an ADA person and this is uncalled for. The doctor is a very nice lady but I just don't believe she can control her staff so I will sadly be looking for another doctor!!!"
