Reviews of The Goal Line Pub
"Don't go to this place the restaurant is dirty they put the food on the floor and they put it back on the grill and sell it to customers the food is bad the dishes are dirty the cups are dirty"
"Came here a couple weeks ago and had a run in with the infamous manager. He harassed me and my friends multiple times about a pitcher of beer as if we went behind the bar and got it ourselves. It’s a cool spot and cool idea but that guy needs a reality check if he is going to be working up front with customers. I. work in the service industry and am able to play devils advocate in these types of situations but the way he talked to us was so demeaning and wrong you would have thought we spit in his face. There is a certain way to approach problems as a manager and he did anything but address us in a professional manner. I think he has a problem with women in particular. Honestly super disappointing, I hope they get this figured out because they will continue to lose customers."
"Good food and great tap beer selection. Seating to watch hockey games and a lot of TVs for sports or the other rinks."
"I literally never have left a negative review for a business before today but it is justified. I ordered the ramean and when it came it looked beautiful but had absolutely no flavor. The broth tasted like water and the chicken was completely unseasoned. I’m not one to send food back so I asked For siracha and tried to make it better with siracha and salt and pepper but i couldn’t even power through it so I just didn’t touch it. The waiter asked if everything was alright and I said honestly I’m sorry I dont want to be that person but this is not it. And he said no problem we’ll take that off for you (mind you this is 5 minutes after receiving the food and I barely touched it). The manager comes out and berates me the point I felt like crying. He is so offended asking what’s wrong with it and I said I dont Want to be disrespectful but it just didn’t have any flavor. And he was like you should have said something before adding siracha! And I said I didnt Want to make a big deal of it that’s why I added It. “Well this is everyone else’s favorite dish and I’ve served this for 35 years what did you expect it to taste like?” And I was Like “I dont Want to be rude but it just didn’t have any flavor at all and I’ve had ramean before”. Then he accused me of eating all the chicken first and I said outright I absolutely did not, you can bring the dish out I barely Touched it. So then he was like so you’re saying you didn’t have any chicken? And I said no I had One piece that’s how I know I didnt Like it. And I reiterated I am not trying to be rude and he was like “I’m not offended, food is food” but he spoke to me in such an accusatory and intimidating manner even as i tried to discuss the situation and it was very uncomfortable for me and my table. I didnt even order anything else I just wanted to leave. My friends and I have come here before for drinks after work and it’s been fun but after this time we will not be coming back. The waiters were nice but it was overall a very unprofessional and uncomfortable experience."
