"Dr.Colmorgan is the most insensitive, disrespectful and unprofessional doctor I’ve ever been seen by. Every appointment I went to with him he told me something was wrong with my baby. He told me my baby was going to be born with “stumps for limbs” and asked if “I still wanted it”, told me she had hydrocephalus, told me she wouldn’t be able to speak or walk, and my baby didn’t have any of these problems when she was born. Every time he had bad news to share, which ended up not being true, he would give me dirty looks and tell me that it’s because I’m not taking care of my diabetes. I had an A1c of 5.3 during my pregnancy and he told me it was “way too high” even though my endocrinologist was very pleased with my blood sugar control throughout my entire pregnancy. My endocrinologist also told me low blood sugars are more dangerous during pregnancy and that a target A1c for pregnancy is anything below 6 as long as it’s achieved without hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). 5 weeks before my due date I had an appointment with him and after checking my blood pressure he yelled “go to the hospital you need to have this baby now!” in a panic. It wasn’t until I got to the hospital that they told me they suspected I had preeclampsia and were going to induce me. He never tested me for preeclampsia or confirmed with me that I had it, he only checked my blood pressure (high blood pressure runs in my family). He would not even share what my blood pressure was when I asked him. 3 days later I had my daughter. I’m so grateful that dedicated to women has a high risk department now, and I don’t have to go here for my second pregnancy."
