Tired of receiving ice cream orders before sunrise for resale, we decided to make our own ice cream in-house. Starting with a small ice cream machine, we quickly upgraded to larger equipment with more capacity and cooling power. Today, our ice cream has outgrown our dining room and has become a standalone entity.
At Port House Creamery, we create ice cream that reflects the same values that established the Port House® Grill – fresh, high-quality ingredients made in small batches by a team passionate about food and making people smile. "This ice cream is absolutely delicious, creamy and full of flavor. There is not many flavors, but that's the way I prefer it. I've been to all 50 states and had ice cream in most of them and this is in the top 10. Salted caramel was incredible. Strawberry, apple butter and butter pecan were really good and super tasty. The vanilla was in my top 5 vanilla ice creams of all time, it almost tastes like your eating butter. The only negatives would be that there isn't any place to enjoy inside, especially if it's cold outside and the portion size is a bit small, even with getting a double scoop. Port House, don't change a thing with the ice cream and you'll have a customer for life."
