Reviews of JJ's Learning Experience
"I wouldn't have seen these reviews if I didn't need to look the number up to call them. I don't understand the negative reviews. My grandson has been going here since he was 2 months old and my granddaughter was in kindergarten. It's been four years. He is highly intelligent from what he has learned. When he was an infant, he had excellent care. Never had diaper rash or anything. So he was definitely not neglected. As a toddler, yes there were accidents. They were always addressed! They are children. Things are going to happen. My grandchildren are happy when I pick them up. I ve even had to go at different times for pickup due to my schedule. I've never walked in and seen anything out of the norm. They are fed well. I've never seen sugar anything unless there was a holiday or birthday. I don't understand about the sugar review. These kids get good meals. I take a grandchild with me when I pick up. He doesn't even attend this daycare and hes feels right at home. Has his favorite teacher that works there and can't wait to run to her!! Sorry. I do not agree with these negative reviews."
"My three children have collectively attended this facility since their beginning in 2018- five years ago. The faculty has been so beneficial for my children - it has provided a social and educational structure. Since we've been attending the center, we have seen consistent progression and improvement. The owners are constantly updating the building, along with children's toys and educational activities, etc. The center is clean and tidy. They have family focused events and holidays, such as Mother's Day festivities, a Thanksgiving luncheon, "muffins with mom", "grapes with grandparents", an annual family fun day during the summer, preschool prom, preschool graduation celebration, and more. They have a summer camp program. They provide the children with a free ABC Mouse account and they utilize apps which provide a daily summary for the children. The staff are down-to-earth and receptive to feedback. They also accept purchase of care and provide breakfast and lunch. I will stay with this facility until my children no longer need care."
"My son has been going here since he was 4 and he is 9 now. We have had no issues, the staff has taught him so many things to prepare him to start school. And now that he has been in school and only there a short time they still treat us like family. They are all amazing, they do so much for the kids and families they truly go above and beyond. And I would recommend them to anyone I know."
"I been going to this daycare for about 6 or 7 years . Both of my kids loves going here. I have no problem with them. They are fantastic with the kids. They learn so much from them. I don't even consider this a daycare, more of a learning school for early age. Every morning I'll tell my son let's go to school and he hurrys up and rushs to the front door. He runs to his teacher every morning and hugs her. They all are wonderful there. I wouldn't choose another place for my kids !"
"Honestly don’t know where to start. I brought my son here because an old friend of mine’s kids went here and she said they did great. Unfortunately my son did not have the best experience. We started on Halloween last year. My first red flag should’ve been that they FILLED these toddlers with sugar. I had mentioned in the interview that I don’t give my son a lot of sugar because it upsets his stomach and he ends up with diarrhea. I understand a holiday party, but to continuously provide sugar to a toddler who just turned one after given that warning he couldn’t have it should’ve been my Que to find another place to take him. Dropping him off was a nightmare as well. When I would drop him off in the mornings he would just cry and not you average cry because mommy is leaving. He would fall to floor and scream as I was walking away. I had a gut feeling something was wrong. My mother would pick him up in the afternoon and she even said he would cry and run to her wanting to get out. That just didn’t sit right with me so I began immediately looking for another place. One morning I dropped my son off and the daycare working amber took him from me and I heard her say to another worker “he’s going to throw her over the edge” excuse me???? If your workers can not handle a toddler crying and is going to “send her over the edge” she shouldn’t be working with kids to begin with. My mother picked my son up one day and sent me a picture of him with a huge knot on his head. Knowing he didn’t get dropped off like that I immediately called into the daycare. They said they would investigate and give me a call back. When I finally did receive a call they said they looked at the camera and it looked like a little girl had pushed him into a wall. Mind you I would have never been told this if I didn’t call and ask. Nobody called me to inform me. I also never got a call when another kid BIT my son. But believe I did get plenty of calls when he didn’t have diapers because they decided to use the diapers i did bring in on other children. Or how they again would give him sugar and he would end up with diarrhea and I’d have to come get him. Or how they would take his temperature after he had a tantrum and call it a low grade fever and again id have to come pick him up. We were only there for 3 months. Between the lack of concern for the children, the lack of listening to the parents, the lack of professionalism, this place is going down hill. Never will recommend any parent to send their child to this location. Ever. I’m extremely happy with where he is at now. He’s growing and doesn’t have any issues and is more verbal and almost has no tantrums anymore. The new daycare also listens to my concerns and doesn’t give him sugar. I’ve been with a new daycare for a year this January and love it still."
