"ATTENTION BE CAREFUL!!! Bad company for shipping if in the city where you live there are other companies to send boxes to your beloved relatives, others are better here, they steal a lot from you and in Guatemala they do not have their own transportation so they deliver the boxes to another company in Guatemala and they actually open them and they take out the things, they don't care about anything so much that it costs one to buy the things to send them to their relatives with love and that these companies are unpunctual thieves, thieves."
"I sent two boxes and they stole merchandise from my boxes and they haven’t got to me like they dont care"
"I would give less stars if I could, my family shipping baking items, hygienic items, a phone and extremely sentimental items to my family in El Salvador only to find out that those items were stolen. Even sadder was that the original packaging was left behind organized exactly how we had it but the contents were gone. We called the company and they only apologized and made no effort to help. Very disappointed and will never use this service again."
"This company contracted with my travel agent, Super Express Travel in Gaithersburg, Maryland, to ship my car and several boxes and two sets of book shelves to Guatemala. Super Express promised to deliver the car direct to my house instead of making me pick the car up at the port of entry. They did not do this and I was forced to travel to the port of entry to pick up the car myself. For this I paid a price of around $500 in excess of the prevailing rate for shipping a vehicle to Guatemala. When the car arrived in Guatemala, at Puerto Barrios, it was missing its license plates and was severely damaged. It had been left outside during the rainy season with the windows open and stank of garbage. There was damage to the suspension and to the bodywork. Servi Fam's representative in Puerto Barrios was missing and had not prepared any of the paperwork to allow us to pick up the car. A sympathetic employee of the Guatemalan government agency - SAT - actually had to send us to a private lawyer to prepare the paperwork to allow us to pick up the car. This took an entire day, starting at around 7 AM, and we did not pick up the car until more than 12 hours later. The car was supposed to have been insured and we sent an itemized proposal for repairing it, from the local Honda dealer, to the owner of Super Express Travel. The company refused to fix the car. It was basically rendered a piece of junk by Servi Fam. Moreover, after more than a year, we have still not received our boxes and book shelves. Super Express made a deal whereby we should have received our boxes delivered to my wife's family's house in Guatemala. This never happened and we have been pursuing them for over a year. Instead of collaboration, Servi Fam's owner, Dario, screams abuse and curses at my wife. I am preparing the appropriate complaints through the various agencies, Guatemalan and American, that are responsible for this kind of commerce. I am seeking compensation and damages against Servi Fam and Super Express Travel, both of whom have colluded to defraud me and my family and to steal and damage our property. Their failure to complete their contract indicates that they are a criminal enterprise and should be closed down either by the jurisdictions of Maryland, Delaware, or by the Federal Government. I found, with an internet search, that Servi Fam was fined $11,990 by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. This should be warning to anyone who wants to do business with them to stay away. It will also mean that my complaint against Servi Fam will be taken seriously and I hope whatever fine is levied against them this time will be significantly higher."
