"After having irrigation installed January 2023, we hired Lawns Unlimited LTD and took advantage of their prepay discount paying $1,390.01 for their Deluxe Organic Plus Lawn Care Program. Our lawn has never looked better. However, after the Fall Core Aeration, we received an additional bill for Broadcast Seeding ($310) which LU completed without our approval. When contacted, LU explained that the seed and leaf grow cannot be prepaid because they don't know how much will be needed until they do the job. Kris emailed a 2022 lawn care proposal indicating that Broadcast Seeding will be charged per lb used and per bag of leaf grow used (Market Price). We have never seen this proposal previously. As we were present when the Broadcast Seeding was completed, the specialist, Alex Maddex, should have informed us of the additional cost before proceeding with the job."
