"All I can say is wow! Not our propane provider (who did not respond to my phone call or email). Called at 8 this morning about issues with our Renai. Someone was there in less than an hour, repaired the issue, gave lots of information about maintenance, life expectancy, etc. Can't recommend them highly enough!"

"I can in no way recommend Schagrin Gas Co. I recently left them and went with natural gas and it was such a wise move. Because I was renting their tank, I was being charged more than double the price for propane than if I owned the tank outright. I inquired about purchasing their tank which they refused to do. Then, when switching to natural during the winter time, I was nearly out of propane before the switch was finalized. I asked for a small amount to hold me over for the entire 6 days until switch was made. They said a minimum of 250 gallons was required for any delivery, which I thought was absurd and strange for just a couple days, but couldn’t let my young children suffer in the cold. So I reluctantly agreed even though it was peculiar and a substantial amount to pay just for a few days. The day comes when they remove their tank. Besides paying such a colossal amount for an unnecessarily large order of propane, things were actually going smoothly. A single employee shows with a backhoe and removes the tank (after cutting my cable line). Days later I receive a bill for over $600 for a “labor” fee and “equipment fee: two fees not once mentioned to me whatsoever. I call to inquire and they tell me they’ve already taken same out of the “reimbursement” check for the 240 gallons I did not use. Then their “minimum delivery of 250 gallons” suddenly made sense: large payment up front under the guise of a “reimbursement check” that they planned on extorting a labor and equipment fee from without notifying the customer. This was a wholly disgusting business practice and I don’t know how this company lives with itself. In the end, if I’m rid of this company for $600, seemingly well spent even through extortion."

"Don’t walk, but run away from this company! Worst company I ever dealt with. They came and took my buried propane tank after I already paid them for it. Never even got an apology! Update - Since the owner is saying they never sell the tanks (that’s because they can’t rip you off on over-priced propane if the homeowner owns the tank) but they agreed to accept a brand new tank in exchange for the 10 year old tank at my house. I delivered the new tank to Schagrin and they still came and took my tank out of the ground and they had my brand new tank!"

"Overall I am happy with the installation and how responsive their customer support was. The first night after installation we experienced issues with our new furnace but after calling their 24-hour support number we were able to get the problem resolved quickly. As of today our new furnace has been working without issue and has been a major upgrade for our house. We're looking forward to using the AC unit in the summer."
