"I would never work with Servpro of West Chester again. I rarely if ever write reviews, but I wish I had known what I was getting into. We were pitched a plan at our lowest point of just having our basement, half bath, and hall destroyed. We didn’t feel super comfortable with what was pitched but asked questions and just wanted to start drying things out. They didn’t want to demo anything or take anything out (including our carpet that was in inches of water) which is why we were hesitant because we had water pouring from our ceiling and soaked our floor. Instead of communicating with us the change in plans as the weekend progressed, we were left in the dark and never told the mat under the carpet wasn’t coming out now though that was part of the original plan. Our key was supposed to be in a black box at our home that did not occur. Plastic was not covering our floors as the equipment was hauled in and out as well as dirty boots stepped all over our carpet. For 3 days, fans blew and nothing was communicated to us on next steps. The project manager was AWFUL. My adjuster was not perfect, but I wasn’t communicated with either from the team though they apparently stopped at my house over the weekend. There was a lot of back tracking when questioned on what was actually getting done once the mold window closed. Needless to say, more things got ruined by not being moved off the floor and ended up growing mold. Our invoice never came to us. It went to our insurance company which was fine, but our adjuster issued us the check since they were not a preferred vendor; however, the invoice never came to me until today, months after the work and it not being paid. I only got the checks last week. There were no notes in our file that said our issues though we well documented it with the crew when they left. When I questioned this bill in comparison to the actual remediation work completed by a separate Servpro, I didn’t get an answer on why it matched the cost of what we expected to be done when the other company did full demo/haul away/ etc. they also took out the carpet and mat. The mat was soaking wet when the new team took it out too. Instead of being cordial or letting me have time with the detailed invoice that I had to request and received today, I was told I had 30 days to pay it or a lien would be issued on my property so get an invoice that day and now a lien threat is made so needless to say all trust in this company was lost. Their bill was padded and claiming 39 fans which the space is 400 sq feet. All in all horrible experience and a lot of upfront lies with a bill for I still don’t know what outside of fans and someone spending 5 minutes to check on it. Horrible experience, rude project managers who quite frankly do not do well talking to customers."
"Had a job done on my roof and This was my first time getting services done so I was a bit nervous as I'm single mom but Lorenzo ensure me that everything will be fine and that I was in good hands and what do you know he was absolutely right. The entire staff was extremely professional and responsive. We were always able to reach, our contractor, by phone or text and he always responded quickly.
