Reviews of Zhang Oriental Medicine
"I highly recommend Dr. Zhang. He has helped me with long COVID symptoms, when several American doctors could not. Acupunture and cupping has lessened the neuropathy in my arms and legs, reduced brain fog, fatigue, dizziness, & headaches, & has increased my memory. It has also helped reduce sinus issues, which I've had and are not related to long COVID. This is because his methods treat the Whole Body. Dr. Zhang is professional and caring, he listens to his patients and adjusts their treatments accordingly. I believe that Dr. Zhang truly wants to help his patients to feel as healthy as possible."
"I highly recommend Dr. Zhang for acupuncture. He was able to treat/correct my immediate issues as well as other issues/concerns of mine. He is very knowledgeable and I will pass his contact information along to others."
"My entire family (myself and my elderly parents) have been going to Dr. Zhang for over 10 years. He is a gifted doctor - you leave feeling great. My father had arthritis pain in his left hip and his appetite was poor. He needed help getting on the table, taking his shoes off and straightening out. After the session, he hopped off the table, put his shoes on and suggested we go out for breakfast. You want to take care of your body and those of your loved ones, this is the Doctor to go to."
"I am a senior woman who has been to many acupuncturists over the years. I thought I would give Dr. Zheng a try as I assumed he would be knowledgeable in Chinese medicine. There is always an initial interview wherein the practitioner talks with the patient about their health history, etc. This process provides two benefits: 1.The practitioner learns about the patient’s health history and current issues/concerns and, as equally important, 2.This process establishes rapport and safety. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. When I entered Dr. Zheng’s office he came out and did not introduce himself or really greet me. I handed him my completed forms which he NEVER looked at. Very weird! When in the treatment room his first words were “How can I help you?” Nice, but no rapport or safety for me… He explained what he found by feeling my wrist pulse but with a mask and language differences, I found it very hard to understand him. The treatment itself was fine with warm lights and he did ask if the needles hurt. The cupping was unique too. After the treatment, though, I went to his office where he sat behind his desk. He DID NOT ASK how I felt, again, very weird, and offered no suggestions for follow-up or remedies that would augment my healing. He was, at that point, more formal, and seemed concerned only about me paying him. I have never experienced an acupuncturist like Dr. Zheng, and would never go back. It was an empty, uncomfortable and disappointing experience."
"Dr. Zhang is an excellent acupuncturist. His creative use of accuppuncture, cupping, and herbs produces lasting results which has had a great impact on my health. I highly recommend his work. Charlotte Gallagher"
