Reviews of Mid Atlantic Spine and Pain Physicians
"They lie to their patients. My doctor was Dr Falco. All of sudden he disappeared.I kept asking to see him.Was told oh he looks at your file when he doesn't see in person(lie)Was told he only working in the Newark de office and I would have to see him there(lie)made appointment to see him went all the way up there 2hr .ride one way.Got there the nurse practitioner came in oh Dr falco not here today. They hid that he was not in the office cause he has brain cancer. They wanted to keep using his license to stay open. When they knew I knew what they were doing. I got a dirty drug test. Then said I couldn't fight it cause it was over 30days.Candice didn't tell me for days after test was done.I have gone to the state of de medical review broad to have them investigated. Very shaded what they did."
"I was responsible for transportation of a patient. The wait times are excessive - never less than an hour late, often as much as five hours, because they purposely overbook appointments. [A patient witnessed staff discussing this fact.] The entire staff is (IMO) addle brained and quick to phone police the second a client dares question their perceived authority. I saw it happen three times in six months for what was non-threatening language and/or behavior. They treat everyone that walks through the door as though they are beneath them [translation: perceived as addicts and/or trash] and none of them are worth their elevated self esteem. Patients with more than one type of insurance should carefully review their invoices. The "surveys" they are asked to complete on the tablets are only allowed to be billed by most companies ONCE yearly and other doctors' offices give such surveys accordingly. THIS office gave patients the survey repeatedly. So it appears that the office pads their pockets by surveying patients as many times as they have insurance companies to bill."
"Deb is the absolute worst doctor. My doctor is suppose to be Dr. Falco. He is amazing and takes time to look at his patients records. However, he takes on a lot of patients so you then have to see other doctors instead. Now he has been out for several months which is unfortunate but I’d rather him get better. Those other doctors, however, don’t care because you aren’t their patient. They don’t take the time to review your history. The CDC thing where you are only suppose to be on X amount of medicine that is equivalent to 90mg of methadone is ONLY a GUIDELINE. It is not a rule or law or anything like that. The paper specifically says guideline. Now having 14 surgeries, a heart surgery, nerve damage from my waist down, chronic Crohn’s disease, Lupus, 76 hospital stays.. I think that justifies being on a pain regimen to help with pain. If your medical history can clearly show and prove the reason you are on the medications you are on then clearly that is enough but if these doctors who aren’t even your actual doctor are just going to up and change your medications, not look at your previous medical history, not look at the fact that Dr. Falco has IN FACT done everything by the book that he was suppose to and we tried other medications that did not work, having Crohn’s disease and an ileostomy bag justifies why a patient is unable to take long acting medicine therefore if long acting can not be given then the break through medication needs to be adjusted accordingly. If I have clearly tried the medications and they did not work so MY DOCTOR DR. FALCO, change my medicine and adjusted it accordingly to give me RELIEF FROM PAIN SINCE THAT IS YOUR JOB AS PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTORS then if he is unable to see me and I have to be seen by another doctor, that doctor SHOULD NOT just go and start changing medications because she feels like it. If she would take the time to actually look at what Dr. Falco has wrote and has previously done she would see that she is literally back tracking and putting a patient back to a point where they are in pain that Dr. Falco tried to get me out of. It literally is absurd and unreal what Deb did if she is even a doctor or whatever she is. She couldn’t even tell me one thing about me, my medical history or anything so she didn’t even look at my medical history or what Dr. Falco has already done and just changed the medication because she felt like it. Unless you are seen by Dr. Falco, these other whatever they are that see you could careless. So many patients are leaving and have already left. It is such a shame that Dr. Falco is unaware of what these or wanna be doctors are doing to his practice."
"I would not even rate a 1, but there is no other option. I was seen by Dr. Flaco who seemed to know his stuff. But if you have any life and do not want to sit in an office for 3-6 hours to be seen by him even though you have an appointment i would extremely recommend not going to this jack____. My first appointment was at 8:40 am. I did not leave until 1:30pm. I thought maybe this is a fluke and would not happen again. I went to my next appointment that was scheduled for 1:50pm. Waited until 2:30 pm and heard someone say they were still waiting to be seen from a 10:30 am appointment. I went to counter to see if this was true, sure enough it was. If i would have stayed i would probably have been there until 7pm that night. I asked for my notes from first visit. I read later to find that thye were incorrect. I called to have it changed, was told make an appointment. Are you freaking serious!!! I rescheduled for a 8am appointment which took me 3 weeks to get, thinking first in first out probably take 30 min. Wrong!!!! I did only wait 2 hours that day. Had to take PT for 4 weeks then make a follow-up which i did, once again for 8am. Well we had a snow storm and they cancelled appointments. I left several messages to have someone call me back. Finally called office up North to reach someone who scheduled another 8 am appointment. This was yesterday. I went in at 8am which they leave a message stating to be there 30 min. prior if you are having a procedure. I was getting a test done. The nurse finished with me by 830am and stated not sure when Doc would be in. He comes from Chadds Ford, PA. I finally heard his voice at 930 in the lobby, that right he got there at 930am when he had patients scheduled for 8am. So i waited a few minutes for him. He never showed. I asked the nurse at 1015 where he was, she stated she was not sure where he was. I got up and told her to let Dr. Flaco know he could kiss my _ _ _ and i would never be back!!!!!!!!!!!! PS the office is also filthy, the water dispencer was replaced with a stand alone. There is a big hole in the wall which looks unsafe. Very unprofessional. Should be reported to health board. Good luck if you choose him. Hope you are very patient."
"Wait time used to be bad. Now he sees patients 2 days a week and I haven't had much wait time since in the Milford office. The staff are all very nice people too. All of you people commplaining about wait time then go elsewhere. Dr Falco is an excellent doctor that's why it's so crowded. He is one of the top spine and pain doctors in the United States. If there is a wait time it's worth it."
