Reviews of Bicycle Health Suboxone Clinic
"First they said they accept united healthcare Medicaid but when you apply they said sorry not in my state VA! If you decide to pay out of pocket then good luck getting the right dosage and if you have more severe symptoms they tell you that is not the right program for you, if you pay attention just from the advertisement you should realize it’s just about them getting your money ( starting by denying my insurance and 2 options: never mind or I understand!!! Click on nvm and you get thank you& goodbye but switch into I understand and next option comes, similar to 1st one click on no and nothing happens then change it back into ok/ yes and next option appears and on and on basically like game you should keep clicking on the answer they want like you should pay $200 & something and rope you into their hand ( before I was going in a doctor office but not much trouble and they took my insurance as well as every pharmacy but 1 week supply 14 films was 8-2mg or 12-3mg was over $300-$450 ( of course all was covered by my insurance so it cost me nothing) but if this 14 films were over $300-450 what are they advertising to provide for $200 ? 7-10 4-1mg? What if you need 30(1 per day for a month or #60 2 films per day 30days supply!!! Im assuming they would say that price was for the very minimum 2-.5mg & how many ummm I don’t know! So probably if you have to take at least 1-2 of 8-2mg per day would cost you $400 maybe $600 ? No thanks I will drive to the office once a month ( which is good for you to get out and drive and see a real doctor who observes you for any other needs or problems as well as everything is covered by my insurance (Medicaid) so no matter the visit cost, medication/s it’s all covered usually you need other medications for stress or anxiety as well not just Suboxone when you stop/detoxed in short if you only need suboxone and nothing else also if they take your insurance and everything then ok it’s up to you but otherwise it doesn’t sound helpful, even if it’s covered you might have to go to a doctor for the other medication/s you might need so why not just get the your subs from the same doctor? And avoid dealing with 2 doctors, un covered costs etc. not recommended to be honest just a bad game to take advantage of people in need or desperate. It’s possible you get a kind person online but if he/she can’t give you any other medication that you need or not being able to see you in person and take care of you better than it’s pointless, it was my second visit at my physical doctor/ in person and she noticed my hands were shaking and gave me something for anxiety and later I needed something for migraines stress etc all were given to me at once and all cost me $0 so I definitely would rather have a doctor visit in person! Sometimes you have other symptoms or problems and they notice and make sure I get the right medications even if you don’t notice them yourself. All I am trying to say is make sure you make the right choice to receive what you need not how much they want to make."
"This was one of the worst Healthcare experiences I have ever had. I am a pain management patient trying to get off of pain medications on suboxone. When I called to make an initial appointment, I was asked many questions and even gave them my entire medical history and medication list after which the operator told me that I was a "perfect fit for them". Additionally on bicycle Health they have many articles on their website talking about pain management patients and other non-farmacological treatment modalities they could do while taking Suboxone administered by their program. And finally they have an online article about patients that are on clonazepam who, well at a higher risk being on clonazepam or benzodiazepines while on Suboxone, came out on their website and said that they could still treat patients and keep them on the clonazepam with the Suboxone as long as the patients understood the risks. I was extremely hopeful prior to my initial visit. My initial visit with the nurse practitioner Andrea Lopez was horrendous. She had no bedside manner at all. She was cold and uncaring. And after paying all of that money for an initial consult which is non-refundable she told me that bicycle health does not treat chronic pain management patients who have become addicted to their pain medications and additionally they will not allow a patient to continue Clonazepam while Suboxone, no exceptions! She then refused to admit me and denied me as a patient for bicycle health because I am a pain management patient. She told me a therapist would call me with referrals for other programs that may accept me and I never received a call. Additionally their website advertises that they do treat pain management patients and allow patients to remain on clonazepam which obviously is false since I was told during my initial visit that they do neither. Minimally this is false advertising. Worse yet patient fraud and obvious disability discrimination requiring litigation. Bicycle health is a horrendous organization obviously just out for the money and I would not recommend it to anyone. I have been a nurse and a registered nurse for 30 years, and I recognize poor care and a company that is only out for the money when I see it. And that is exactly what bicycle health is."
