"I needed to see a Neurologist and the Veterans Administration made me an appointment to see a Dr. immediately at the University of Penn. Apparently the VA also made me an appointment at Bryn Mawr Medical Associates in case they could see me sooner. Once Penn confirmed, the VA cancelled the appointment at Bryn Mawr. I have the records, and the VA confirmed they cancelled the appointment. Nevertheless, Bryn Mawr decided to send me personally a $75.00 bill/charge for not showing up to the appointment. They relayed my situation to Dr. Hart who said "The charge and balance stays." So no I, a disabled Veteran need to utilize my limited resources to pay for a Dr. visit I never made or even knew about. $75 for a no show charge is a lot for someone on a fixed income. I was not treated with dignity or care by Bryn Mawr and hope you think twice before using there services. I spent nearly my entire 20's in the Marine Corps, doing my best to keep others from harms way. Thanks for the in-kind repayment Bryn Mawr. Thanks for having a heart, especially sending me multiple bills the weeks leading up to Christmas."

"The Doctor is ok, The practice leaves a lot to be desired. I have called to cancel appointments, but then they don't cancel them. I called once to ask to speak to my doctor about a particular concern. They assured me he would call me back. He never did. They didn't see urgency in a problem I had that festered for an additional month before being treated. On my latest visit they billed me for a procedure they never performed, it was paid for by insurance, but that is still shady. When I called them to let them know, the woman in billing was so rude and nasty and completely made up an excuse for the reason they did this - which makes me believe this is standard practice here - to simply add charges when they know insurance will cover it. No other doctor's practice I've ever seen in my life treats me the unprofessional way these people do."

"I have been here to see several specialist and the care has been wonderful. That being said, I cannot recommend due to their billing practices and services. I have paid copays that do not get credited to my account and I have to call and fight despite having receipts and credit card statements. Sadly, will not return for care due to these issues. I only hope I can resolve a current, paid outstanding bill soon."

"My doctors office called to make me an appointment. Wait time was over a month out and assured I was on a cancellation list to be seen sooner. Called the office myself and was told the same. A week before my appointment they called to tell me the doctor was no longer going to be in that day and rescheduled me 2 more weeks out, but they would add me to the cancellation list, after stating I been on it for over a month they said I wasn’t! Clearly they do not care about their patients or their time"

"Dr. Belinda Birnbaum is the best doctor I have ever had! She does not speed though my visits and fully listens to me. She helped me problem solve for my own specific symptoms (autoimmune) and helped me to get my life back. I could not recommend her more. This is the first time I have written a review for anything, that's how good she is!"
