"I like going to the library to study. It's great place. Downstairs may not always be as quiet as upstairs because of all the things that might be going on, but that's fine because they have study rooms. My favorite place is upstairs it's usually quite, not crowded, + has it's own study rooms. Nothing to complain about."
"This library would be such a great place to study would it not be for the tutoring and writing center employees. One older lady with glasses and long hair is always talking and laughing really loudly, and even worse, belching loud enough to be heard in the study area. This is really gross and just not what I want to be hearing when I am studying. Then we have the single younger female, how do I know she is single you ask? Well, because she also talks loud enough, spilling every mundane detail of her life to whomever it seems passes her by. Lastly, but definitely not the least, we have the older gentleman, no scratch that, a gentleman has manners.. The older man with glasses who loves to have personal phone conversations in the studying area... You know not to bother his fellow employees but us mere peasants out here studying for board exams, classes, and whatnot, no we have the great honor of having to listen to him LOUDLY talk on his mobile phone going on and on regarding doctors appointments, having switched medical insurance, concern over a prescription was going to be filled or not. WHY DO I WANT TO HEAR THIS? I don't. When he is asked to quiet down, his unbelievable response is "I'll only be a few minutes.." NO GUY, GET OFF THE PHONE or TAKE IT INTO THE LOBBY. Is this not what the lobby is for??? And here is the kicker... I wear ear plugs, you know those little foam things you stuff inside your ear when you want absolute quiet. Yes, I wear these and can STILL hear the commotion of these disrespectful workers. I always thought libraries were supposed to be quiet places. Libraries are places to be able to quietly read or study and be able to focus without distraction and it is shocking to me that the younger adult students here have way more respect for this than the people that are working in the library itself."
"Library is a place most people go to find help and also a place that is mentioned for quiet studying. These library is ideal for both but some of the staff especially in the tutoring center are very rude. Talking loud playing instruments and answering phone calls in the library. Very unprofessional and rude overall. The facility is nice but it can still get very frustrating when I wear ear plugs and can still hear the staff not other students talking very loud. If I had better options for the area to study I would reconsider some were else to study for my board exams."
