"Pops made my wheels and tire shopping a breeze. They made sure I got the correct fitment and look and under my budget. Very happy!"
"I NEVER thought that I would be writing a review about a snow tire changeover experience. I made an appointment in advance with Pops to get my snow tires put on. I usually go to Town Fair Tire and they would have done it for "free". I always make an appointment with Town Fair and it usually takes me two to three hours to get out of there. It is important to note that I have never done my changeover when there is an upcoming snow storm, just a normal day. Every time I suffer through this, I question my sanity for coming back. I was in and out of Pops in less than 30 minutes. The tires feel great on the highway. This was worth paying for in getting my valuable time back. See you in the Spring."
"I bought four new tires, deciding to use the local shop rather than the larger chain retailers. Chris was a good guy, gave me a great deal on them and there's no question they were the cheapest around. Why the one star then? Well, I had Pop's in Wethersfield rotate them after 5,000 miles and again at 11,000 miles, following normal tire protocol. Around 19,000 miles I notice my 40,000-mile-rated-tire starting to wear down more than it should at that mileage. So I go back to Chris and he tells me that the tires look this way because of "missing the rotating schedule" and that he can only get me new tires, but I have to pay the difference due to the wear on my current tires. I decide to get opinions from other tire shops on my tires, one of them being Pop's in Middletown. Each tire shop told me that the wear on my tires was NOT due to a rotation issue. So now I'm stuck here with four soon-to-be-bald tires and no options. So much for the cheaper local guy: stick with Town Fair or Pep Boys."
"I had difficulty finding somebody to Mount two walk behind mower tires. After being told by several big name tire retailers they would not do it (even though they could have), I went to Pops Tires. They did an excellent job and were extremely friendly. Customer service matters and unlike many of the larger chains, Pops takes this seriously."
"I walked in they took good care of my car. Fast and excellent customer service. Took care my tires asap. I recommend this business to anyone who needs alignment and great deals tires. I'm very happy customer. Will come again. Workers gentleman knowledgeable and nice. Very satisfied customer. Thank you Joe for always going the extra mile. Assisting with my car needs.
