I have been trying to call these people for 2+ weeks to obtain my results. I all I get is the runaround leave messages after messages and no return calls. Please find another place that shows some professionalism."

"I'm usually not the type to leave a review but in this case, I had to make an exception. I recently went to Akumin and had an absolute amazing experience. After being tossed around like a ragdoll through the medical world, it was a relief to have such a pleasant experience! One employee in particular deserves to be recognized, I believe her name was Ashley. She could not have been more pleasant and immediately made me feel reassured that this would not be like all my negative experiences at other companies. Despite it being busy, she took her time to go over everything with me and answered all my questions. For once, I didn't feel like just another inconvenience, rather, I was made to feel like someone actually sympathized for what I was going through. I don't have enough kind words for this young lady but if there were more Ashleys out there, this world would certainly be a better place."

"I had a great experience here with Kim as my tech. She was efficient and kind while making sure I was comfortable during my CT scan. The receptionist Ashley Brennen was also wonderful and responsive. Especially since she is the only receptionist who works there. She is in charge of answering the phones, checking in patients, gathering all of the paperwork and information while still being kind and patient with each person she interacts with. I am removing one star only because Ashley should 100% not be the only person at the front. The phones were ringing off the hook and going unanswered while she was assisting me because she could only prioritize one person at a time. Alumni admins should either pay her triple or bring in two more receptionists to help her out. Overall I had a great experience here and if you have the misfortune of needing a scan done, definitely consider this place!"

"Beware! When obtaining imaging services at the center they will tell you that your insurance company has given them your deductible amount and charge you at the time of your appointment. You will then get an explanation of benefits in the mail showing that they overcharged you, for myself it was by $100. In order to obtain a refund of the overpayment you must call their billing department who does not answer the phone, leaves you on hold forever, advises you to email but then does not respond to said email. After hours of attempting to reach them you may be lucky enough to get somebody on the phone who will eventually refund your money. I was told directly that this money would not have been refunded had I not called and spoken to somebody. They do not automatically issue refunds and will just steal your money if you do not catch their error and spend hours on the phone attempting to reach them. I was informed that this is their policy. I will never return."
