"What a great little out-of-the-way spot to take your family. There is a fishing/crabbing pier, a little slip of shoreline/beach, and a park area with a pavilion, complete with picnic tables and a grill. Would be a great spot for a small get together like a birthday. It's also one of the handful of "fee free" fishing spots in Maryland. You can fish here if you don't have a license. On top of that, non-residents can crab with handlines and keep up to 2 dozen crabs per day, per person. Again, no license required. My son and I visited late fall, when there was quite a chill in the air. I can imagine in the summer, based on the direction of the wind, you're going to get nailed with mosquitos, greenheads and horseflies. So I would suggest packing sunscreen AND an aggressive bug repellant...lol."
