The Yorklyn Recreation Center, located in Hockessin, Delaware, is a family-friendly summer facility that offers a variety of activities for families and individuals in the northern Delaware and southern Pennsylvania area. With a pool, tennis courts, BBQ, picnic areas, and other summer activities, the center is the perfect place to relax and have fun during the warmer months.
The Yorklyn Swim Club, part of the recreation center, finished second in the SSL Red Division with a 3-4 record. The success of the swim team season would not have been possible without the dedicated volunteers and coaches who helped make it all happen. Special thanks are given to Swim Team Mom & Coordinator, Melissa Watson, the Snack Bar Team, and all the families who volunteered for swim meet jobs.
The coaches, including Coach Clare, Berry, Lucy, Gavin, Eliza, Henry, Ryan, Colleen, and Dave, played a crucial role in helping the swimmers learn and grow throughout the season. The support and dedication of everyone involved made the 2023 Swim Team Season a great success. Thank you to all who contributed to making it a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.
