"I deliver here on regular prompt to get me in around 6am when my appointment was 8am. Dock is tight but they have a few spotters who know what they are doing. Unload floor skids quickly."
"This is a truly disappointing company. I’ve called several times. Often calls are not returned. I left a message with the company owner and asked if he really wanted my business. That was over a week ago. I guess he doesn’t care about providing a quality service. I dealt with a person named Karen and she’s a real “Karen”. Update: I received an email from Dale Smith, Vice President Sales & Marketing. It was a very pleasant letter apologizing for my inconvenience and offering to help. So with renewed hope, I called and spoke with him. It was a civil conversation in which he told me that they prefer to do business with contractors (ie: men). Then he said that he’s trying to repair our working relationship to which I responded that I’d prefer to do business with you as you are closer and more convenient. (I’m a senior citizen and traveling is difficult). Then Dale’s voice and attitude changed abruptly. He said “I’ve tried to business with you but that’s not possible” and a comment about wasting your time. He then hung up the phone with me. I found him to be a sexist, misogynist individual who would never speak to a man the way he spoke to me. I would have realized it when he said that they only deal with contractors."
"Sterling seemed reasonably OK during the buying process, and I was encouraged. However once we got to installation we found numerous problems/flaws with their planning, which for the most part we had to battle to get even half-way resolved. They made it quite an unpleasant experience. Afraid I can't recommend..."
"I would not recommend this company Poor service. Sales person messed up on measurements and had to send new drawings weeks after the project started. Then he forgot we paid for the installation and was just setting up a delivery. While building the wall he laid out I realized it was too long and I had just put screws into our new hardwood floor because of his mistakes and the other side of the island was too short and had to be extended causing the spacing on the other side of the Island to be different. He forgot to put things we wanted in the island and we had to have them come back out to do rework. The installer came out on a Sunday and did a hack job. The holes in the bottom of the sink bases were 5 inches for a 1-1/4 inch drain pipe, things were out of level and plum and the spacing over the kitchen sink with the window cabinets was wrong. The VP came out with the install manager and the VP asked if I was here during the install, like I should have been here to manage their installer. The kitchen sink base was screwed up by the time I realized it the sink and the granite were installed. It turns out the installer was at our house for his first install with sterling and did a craptastic job. The installation manager Paul was a bright spot. He did his best to get things fixed but they are bandaids and extra trim to hide the installers mistakes. The VP however was not someone I would ever want to deal with again. Basically offered us $300 bucks for the problems. The cost of the kitchen sink base. $300 off of a $21000 order, 1.4% off was all that their complete and utter screw ups were worth. I would not recommend this company"
