"They charge you 150 just to come out and look at spa. Then another 150 for Labor once parts are in! Even though we removed all insulation and sent pictures of the leaking part on our spa. Really overcharged!!!! For 5 min first time and 1/2 hour the second visit!!!"

"My then-boyfriend and I went there to get a pool. After they had him sign, they started paperwork with the township and found I owned the home, so they needed my signature. I never signed. I then tried to get back the money and they gave me the runaround, said they'd spent most of it on the engineer and claimed I had signed to pay so it made the contract valid. ??? They also said that the money was spent on a separate contract for the engineer's report, which on the pool contract is listed as "included." (Not paid separately. Included.) Their controller then treated me like an idiot, and was condescending and nasty. (I will admit this led to me ending the conversation telling her what she could do to herself and hanging up.) I am now using a reliable pool company and guess will be seeing this one in court."

"We recently did a replaster of our gunite pool at our beach house. We received quotes last fall from 6-7 different companies including the one that services our pool weekly. Most were within 30 minutes of our house and Budd's was over an hour away. We selected Budd's based on their pricing, responsiveness and detailed quote. We had a little trepidation after reading some of the google reviews, however our experience during the entire process was been exceptional. Phil was our primary contact and was hands on throughout the process. We also communicated with Rachel quite a bit and she was great as well. We had a lot of questions (having never owned a gunite pool before) and they answered all of them in a quick time frame. They were flexible when we asked for a change to the contract and also when it came time to perform the job. We also really like that they have a showroom and were able to pick our color from a real sample instead of off a screen. Phil was very helpful in his guidance on selecting our color, which we love. The job itself was a 4 day job which included sandblasting. Everything went off without hitch even though they had to improvise a tent because of some unexpected rain. Phil was and was there to ensure quality and hands on during the plastering process. Would we hire Budd's again? Absolutely."

"Install of our pool was just completed within the past few weeks. The process started with Larry who helped us design our pool and price it accordingly. It was a very smooth process that showed they took their time and used nothing but quality products. Once past the design phase Anthony the construction manager came out to the house and walked us through the process. The pool was laid out and any changes we wanted were discussed. They provided an app that offered spot on timing and scheduling and allowed communication between myself and their office. Larry and Anthony were also always available via text and phone. They didn't miss a deadline and provided updates and check-ins throughout. The process was smooth as it could be and the completed job was top quality. I cant say enough good things about them. I will say as you are pricing pools you will see them a bit higher but there is a reason. The nuts and bolts of the project are going to be that much better in quality and the process will be professional. Give them a look if you are shopping pools and you wont be disappointed!"
