"So happy it’s almost dance season again! Going back to the studio to register for classes for my son and daughter felt like going home. We were new to the area last year and we’ve definitely found our ‘dance family.’ Susie and Anna welcomed my children as one of their own from day one! When we registered again for this upcoming season, the kids were so happy to see their dance friends again and are really looking forward to classes. If the kids are always happy to go to their lessons, you know you’ve found the right place!"

"This past year was my 5 year old’s first year at Bobbie Ann’s after 2 years at another studio. She absolutely loved it! The teachers truly love their students and take the time to get to know them. They are a perfect combination of being nurturing and encouraging, yet still uphold some tough love with high expectations, even for the youngest studio dancers. I also appreciate that for the little kids they offer combo classes where the kids are introduced to ballet, tap, jazz, acrobats, and twirling. It keeps the classes super engaging and fun for the kids and lets them figure out areas where they may have talents, or interest in pursuing a particular art form for the future. It definitely has a family atmosphere with many of the dancers being multi-generational, or having been dancing here for many years. The teachers are very talented choreographers, and know how to put on amazing shows! They also seek out multiple opportunities for their students to be able of perform in the community, which enhances that sense of community the studio has and really bonds the kids to one another through these experiences. The only negatives are that the studio itself is really small with only one dance room and a small waiting room/reception area for the parents. It could use a bit of a face lift honestly. I also don’t like that I as a parent have almost no idea what my child is learning or how she is doing because there is no way to see her in class. This makes it Impossible to practice at home because I don’t know what she should be working on. We are excited to continue dancing at Bobbie Ann’s this fall and look forward to joining therir awesome Musical theater classes in the future too. When I asked my daughter if she wants to go back to dance she said, “ You bet I do”!"

"My daughter starting dancing with Bobbie Ann’s over 9 years ago when she was just 2 years old and we simply LOVE it!!! The classes are affordable and they offer so many. Always a professional yet friendly and family like atmosphere. The instructors are great...extremely patient and full of positive energy. They are very encouraging and always give the best feedback to help the dancers improve and do their best. Anna and Susie are wonderful and always take the time to get to know and understand the needs of each individual student. They provide a comfortable, safe and fun learning environment. BADS dance recitals and musical theater productions are like no others—truly a must see. I recommend Bobbie Ann’s to anyone looking for a first class studio."

Not only do they teach technique through a variety of dance genres (tap, ballet, hip-hoo, lyrical, etc), they also offer a musical theater program! The instructors are professional and encouraging!
